Limerick City is located in the southwest of Ireland along the River Shannon. Limerick offers tourist attractions such as St Mary's Cathedral, King John's Castle and the Hunt Museum. Limerick Business parks include Raheen Business Park and the National Technology Park in Castletroy and are both located close to the city centre. Shannon Airport provides easy access to Limerick city and is situated 20 km west of Limerick city and approximately a 15-minute drive. The University of Limerick (UL) and Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) make for a large student population. Lastly Limerick city is the home of Munster Rugby which is played at Thomond Park in the east of the city.
