5 out of 5We just stayed for the one night but couldn't fault it. Check in was quick and efficent, the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast the next morning had plenty of choice and location wise for Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, it can't be beat. Would definately stay here again

4 out of 5It was a good stay (again). The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was New Years Eve and the hotel was full. The hotel laid on some entertainment for the evening and this worked well even though the bar was very busy and at times the service was slow but this was to be expected I suppose. A good night was had by all so no complaints. The rooms were very nice, well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, safe, iron, TV and internet connection that was all free. This is a good hotel and I would recommend this to others.

4 out of 5Stayed for two nights in the middle of December 2011. Hotel seemed busy, possibly with Christmas parties. Arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning, efficient check in. Was given a lower-ground level room. Wondered if that's where they put folks that booked through an outside agent. At least, it was quiet in that area and the room was very good. No complaints generally, except for parking at the front of the hotel. It was difficult to find a spot. There seemed to be a multi-storey carpark as well, but I was driving a high van so this was not an option. Essentially, parking may have only been an issue for me and my van :-) Staff were very friendly. Meals were good. The breakfast was standard fare, but I've no complaints. I had an evening meal on Saturday evening and it was very good. A reasonably good choice was to had from the set menu. I went with duck to start, lamb shank as a main, and Xmas chocolate log for dessert.

5 out of 5Had great time, hotel is perfect for family break with excellent facilities and easy access to shopping centre and city centre. Will be booking again

3 out of 5We literallty only checked in, slept and left, so I can't give a detailed review, but the room was clean and a good size. The only downside was the doors joining the next door rooms on both sides. If your neighbours are in any way noisy, it could be a problem. We were lucky with ours.

5 out of 5Stayed in Clarion Liffey valley for 2 nights. Hotel was lovely, staff were friendly and room was 1st class. Bedroom had everything you would require for a break, we had a superior room with a balcony. Thank you very much to all staff for a friendly and fantastic stay.

3 out of 5My elderly mother and I had a room each on November 9th, 2011. We ordered breakfast to our rooms for 9.15-9.30. At 8.30, there was a lot of LOUD talking and laughing in the corridor and our doors were wrapped on and 'Housekeeping' was shouted at us. At 9.00 our breakfasts were delivered - 10mins early. This lady quietly apologised for being early. While our stay was comfortable and the rooms were agreeable, it was a pity that the room service was so poor. I would have thought that staff would make sure that customers should be afforded a quiet and peaceful stay. (they were not speaking English). Our room numbers were 242 and 244 on ground floor.

4 out of 5we stayed in a lovely room everything very clean and staff very helpful def will be coming back again the swimming pool and extras were lovely aswell

5 out of 5I have stayed in the Clarion Liffeyvalley on numerous occassions and this time was just as good as every other. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always spotless and there is plenty of room to relax. The leisure centre is also spotlessly clean. I have tried other hotels in the area but I would definitely recommend the Clarion for price, location and service.

4 out of 5Stayed at Clarion Liffey Valley in Family Room very good value. Room had 2 single beds and 1 Double bed. Wasvery suitable for our needs as wee had two teenagers. Would stay again. Location very convenient to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and access to M50 and 20 mins from IKEA.

4 out of 5Really enjoyed our stay, got excutive suite and it was fab,so spacious:-) breakfast was lovely, only fault was that the room was very warm, but well equiped with fans:-)

3 out of 5i would only reccommend this hotel for its closeness to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, when we checked in, we were not given a hotel room, i requested a twin bedroom but we were given a double room in an apartment across from the hotel,we had to wait for nearly 2 hours before anyone came to seperate the beds, the booking included breakfast which the girl on reception tried to convince me that it didn't, the parking is not free there, you have to pay for it. Was not happy to say the least. Would i reccommend this hotel? only if you had the patience to wait while problems were being sorted out
0.3
4 out of 5I was very happy with the location of the hotel and in general the stay was very satisfactory. Only downfall was the lack of a residence bar but the night staff did their best to accommodate us.
0.3
4 out of 5This hotel is very resonably priced.. the service is very good.. the staff were very helpful and polite...it is a very child friendly and safe with plenty of entertainment for children of all ages...room was very clean and nicely furnished..food in the hotel was lovely..would certainly return without a doubt.

3 out of 5Our room wasn't ready when we arrived and were told it would be half an hour. After waiting that time it still wasnt ready so we decided to head off and go back that evening. We also rec Quested a travel cot which wasnt in the room and we had to wait for that too. However the staff were friendly and the room was of a good standard.

5 out of 5Hotel was fantastic. Despite being over booked they facilitated me with a free upgrade and saved me a lot of hassle. Also good location and leisure facilities.
0.3
4 out of 5good hotel, a bit far from bus stop. hotel parking is a bit overpriced.
0.3
4 out of 5Have stayed here on numerous occasions. Good location, rooms are always nice and clean, comfy bed, good value for money. No problem with the breakfast. Have only eaten in the bar in the evenings and not in rhe main restaurant. Food in the bar is nice and reasonably priced. Swimming pool downstairs can get busy at weekends a lot of families stay at the hotel.

3 out of 5Stayed for 4 nights with our 2 teenage sons (two rooms booked). Had to request on 3 different days to have room cleaned and towels changed. Apart from this everything else was satisfactory. Lovely breakfast and staff very helpful.
0.3
4 out of 5good room where I requested. Friendly efficient service.
0.3
3 out of 5The hotel was good and the room was clean. I appeared to be given the furthest room from reception and I don't know why because I don't think the hotel was full. I was also given a wheelchair/disability room to my surprise. It had a wheelchair wheel in shower with a seat under the shower. Not that this bothered me but I just found it strange. Overall the room was well equiped with everything expected for a hotel of this standard. It was clean and tidy and well presented. I didn't have much interaction with staff apart from check in/out.
0.3
4 out of 5Very busy, nice reception area, room smelled of smoke although it was a non-smoking room, convenient location, parking should be free for residents

4 out of 5We were upgraded to a suite for the nite, terrific value and room for 10 more people!!
0.3
1 out of 5Before arriving at the hotel I requested early check in as we were going to a concert but was informed it may not be possible due to how busy the hotel was, which was fair enough. When I arrived the receptionist looked baffled by the idea that I had being told that I had requested early check in and informed me no note of such a request had being made, I had done this directly with the hotel. We had to wait for 2 hours to get our rooms. The only reason we got rooms after the 2 hours was I insisted that we had to get some sort of room to change. In the end the receptionist put us in family rooms I would imagine more so to get rid of us rather than any other reason. One of the check in staff also informed us that they were having problems with leaks and bathrooms on one of the floors. On entering our room the smell of sewage was overpowering but we put it down to the troubles. We left the room once ready and didn't return until late that night, the smell in the room was worse we couldn't use the bathroom and had to ensure the door was closed. It was too late to do anything about so I mentioned it on check out but as the room was prepaid the hotel could do nothing for us besides waive the €4 parking charge ... I won't be returning, I am very disappointed with my stay.

4 out of 5We enjoyed our stay at The Clarion. It is a superb hotel, excellently located to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, which means it is very handy to come back to when you need to drop off all those shopping bags!! Rooms were very clean and tidy and the beds are just SO comfortable!! Breakfeast was top class also. Would definately go back to this hotel in the future.
0.3
3 out of 5Hotel is ok, checking in can take a while, bedrooms very warm, food ok
0.3
4 out of 5Hotel is perfect for a short stay in Dublin. The price from Roomex.com could not be beaten!! The hotel is right beside Liffeyvalley Shopping Centre and perfect for couples or a family. The rooms were spotless and staff were very pleasant. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future as its very near everything.
0.3
3 out of 5Not 4 star quality but for a reasonable price i cant complain. Would suit family or someone looking for hotel near an airport. Near liffey valley also and cinema.
0.3
3 out of 5Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Clarion Liffey Valley and staff were very helpful. We couldn't fault breakfast and the room was lovely but... it was very hot and very noisy (even when window was closed) as it was located close to motorway. In fairness, there was a fan provided so we kept that on all night, but that also contributed to the noise factor. We paid €33 each for one night's B&B in a twin room, so we didn't do so badly and the above issues wouldn't stop us from returning to the hotel again, but we will be more clued in about what to look out for when checking-in to this - and other hotels - in the future.
0.3
5 out of 5The Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley is one of the best hotel's i've stayed in! Rooms were superb, staff were very friendly and the food was excellent & only 5 minutes walk to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre! I will definetly be going back!

4 out of 5Lovely hotel to stay in. I have stayed there many times now and is always the first hotel I look at when I need to stay In Dublin.
0.3
5 out of 5As always the staff are very welcomming and accommodating. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean. Breakfast (which was the only meal we had at the hotel this time) was delicious. The hotel is easily accessable and is an ideal location for a shopping trip to Dublin.
0.3
4 out of 5Great location and a very impressive room!

5 out of 5We stayed at this Hotel for one night it was great and not our first time staying there either.
0.3
1 out of 5I have given your hotel this rating because when we went to check in the hotel was double booked and upon attending the wedding and speaking to friends I discovered that this was a common accurance on this day . After paying for a triple room we were given a double with 2 single beds and had to settle for this and a fold out bed being squashed in to the already tiny room . When we went for breakfast in the morning we had to que up out in to the hotels reception area for over 45mins to get in to the dining area and then again for 5 to 10 mins to get a table overall I felt this was a total joke .
0.3
2 out of 5Below average not because of the room, as it was fine though quite cold, not because of the staff as they were pleasant....but the fire alarm did go off from before 6am until 8 am on the Friday night, which fairly messed up my day, as I was on a course. Sat night was highlighted by the late bar out front...pity they didn't think to put a single occupant in a room away from the fun. All in, only ok, wouldn't be raving about it.
0.3
4 out of 5We stayed one night in this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, our room was lovely and clean, and very nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful also, as we had our little boy with us and it was nice to be able to bring him for dinner and not have to worry about a time restriction. The food in the restaurant was very good too and there was lovely selection on the childrens menu too.
0.3
4 out of 5Staff very obliging. Clean hotel with good facilities. The only downfall was that there was no airconditioning making the rooms we stayed in rather stuffy. Plenty of parking although they were going to charge us 4euros a night, when on the hotel brochure in the bedroom said complimentry parking inclusive. Good access for Dublin City.
0.3
4 out of 5Overall, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food I bought in Kudos bar was really delicious and reasonably priced and the lesiure facilities were excellent. On the downswing, the noise from my motorway facing room was very difficult to achieve much sleep by and it was only when I arrived onsite that I found out that I had to pay for parking (I thought it was included). It's in a great location for city commuting though and the price was quite good compared to other hotels nearby for what you get.

4 out of 5very satisfied with everything

5 out of 5Being from the West, myself and my sisters find The Clarion an ideal place to stay when in Dublin. We stay here 5 or 6 times a year since it opened. We had a lovely room with three single beds in and was quite large. The room as usual was spotless . We had room service which was very tasty and a good sized portion and very reasonable. As this hotel is close to the city and a quick trip on the bus to the airport [the bus stops at the hotel]I would recommend it to anyone going for business or leisure.
0.3
1 out of 5Was worken up at 3.00 am by a noisy bunch; Complained to reception and initially nothing was done. After another 30mins contacted reception again and it took another 15 mins before anybody arrived. Would not stay there again.
0.3
3 out of 5Reception was friendly but not very efficient. I had asked for a non-smoking room and despite that I was put into a smoking room, not once, but twice. Rooms were clean but somewhat stuffy. Thankfully a fan was supplied after I requested it. Overall it was good value for money
0.3
3 out of 5I could not fault the hotel in general but the room was very poor. We had no fridge which was advertised in brochure. The shower head was broken, no soap and no hair dryer.
0.3
4 out of 5Had a great break in the Clarion Liffey Valley. Friendly, efficient check-in. Room clean and bright and comfortable beds. Particularly liked that it was quiet and a good temperature at night. Best of all there was a fridge in the room in which to store water, milk etc. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate but at €10 per adult and €5 per child we paid for it and it was good value, the choice and quality was very good. We were there during Easter holidays and the kids loved the pool when they had giant inflatables during the afternoon. There was an unsupervised games room and an unsupervised kids movie in the evening but my kids were too young for this. Found the hotel very child-friendly which was very important for me. This was about the 4th time we have stayed here and I would definitely recommend it for families. Great location beside Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and near the m50, giving good access to all of Dublin by car. About a 5 minute walk to public bus stop but I would be a bit wary of this if I was on my own after dark. Only criticism I can think of is that the bar-food menu in the evening is all Thai food and I would prefer more choice, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and a take-away pizza menu is given in each room too. Hoping to go back with the kids in the summer.

4 out of 5Nice hotel, convient location, and good value.
0.3
3 out of 5As expected the hotel was clean and friendly. However it was not without some faults. At registration I asked the receptionist not to put me into a room adjoining another. This was because it of the noise that comes through when the television is on in an adjoining room. Guess what? When I arrived at my room I found that it was an adjoining room. Luckily there was no problem in changing rooms. However this was the third time this happened to me. Toiletries in the bathroom are basic and sparse. For example no bars of soap. Just liquid soap at the washbasin and liquid soap/shampoo over the bath. Not easy to work up a shaving lather using liquid soap. The electric kettle in the room showed very definite signs of wear and tear. Breakfast is expensive and not very appetising. Food is cooked earlier on and left in warming trays. This leaves gives a leathery quality to the rashers. Strangely the plates for the breakfast were not even lukewarm. As usual the table was not set fully: the usual teaspoons missing.

4 out of 5We stayed for one night in this Hotel and found it to be very welcoming and comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
0.3
3 out of 5The hotel is quite large so we had to walk through long corridors to get to room from reception. Room was nice and clean and quite but the was smell of smoking coming through by morning.
0.3
5 out of 5Had a wonderful stay in the Clarion Liffey Valley with my husband for Mothers Day. Arrived late on Saturday night to the Hotel and everything was ready and waiting. Room was fantastic and very spacious. Had room service and it was superb. Looking forward to staying there again very soon and will definitely bring the kids next time.

2 out of 5I booked a room for three. the smell of the room when we arrived was desperate. The smell seemed to be coming from the plug hole in the shower. It was a room "suitable" for a disable person as it was a walk in shower. The room number was 465. The toiled was falling off the wall. You were afraid to sit on it incase it would fall on the floor. The room was freezing we rang to reception to tell them that said they would send some one up. An half hour later we got a call from reception to say they had located a heater if we wanted it. We told them not to bother. Also there was only 2 bathtowels and 2 mugs to make coffee. We had booked and paid for a room for three. It was not a very nice stay we told the receptionist when we were checking out, we might as well have complained to the cat on the street for all the attention she gave us.
0.3
4 out of 5Nice simple room, but noise could be heard clearly through a door to an ajoining bedroom. Room was clean, bed comfortable, restaurant downstairs was excellent.
0.3
4 out of 5Really enjoyed our stay. Room excellent and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant on sunday night and it was lovely. Definetly going back
0.3
5 out of 5We had a very enjoyable stay overall, the staff were very friendly and the room was really comfortable and clean, the food was excellent and the leisure centre is fantastic, will defintely stay in this hotel again.
0.3
3 out of 5stayed for one night because of a social event nearby. so didn't really use all the hotel's facilities. checkin was fine; the room was a good size - double and single beds - and had all you'd expect. the hotel was fine, though has the strangest arrangement for residents' bar ever. so don't expect a relaxing late pint in the bar, it'll be a can in the foyer! when checking out, found they had a charge for 'corkage' on the room which didn't apply. the girl checking us out was great and sorted it out, though without solid explanation. if you find yourself in 'quarryvale', and you need a hotel, you'll be happy enough with this place.
0.3
5 out of 5We really had a fantastic stay at the hotel. We were staying en route to a wedding. The rooms were quiet and very tastefully done. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was brilliant and cooked to the highest standard. Wouldn't have any problem ever staying in this hotel again.
0.3
4 out of 5will be staying in hotel again in the near furture
0.3
4 out of 5Hotel room was very nice and comfy, bit of a walk to the room tho. Food was lovely when they eventually got the order right. Staff were very nice. We were there as had been to a party in the Arc bar so wasn't too happy when someone from hotel rang room at 8am and it was wrong room. My 1st and only lay on as i've 4 children, but over all was a nice stay and would do it again.
0.3
4 out of 5We enjoyed our stay at The Clarion Liffey Valley.Room rate great value. Car parking only 3 euro per day. Left car in car park and took bus to city center. Staff very friendly. Evening dinner for 2 with free bottle of wine only 60 euro. The only fault that I could find was the lighs in the bedroom were very dim especially around dressing table.
0.3
3 out of 5I Stay at the Clarion normally, but I found when I asked for a different offering that was a caesar salad on the menu, they were not very accommodating and when I received it about a half an hour later it was not up to the standards I would normally expect for the Hotel .
0.3
4 out of 5Excellent choice, always love staying at The Clarion Liffey Valley. Rooms always clean, staff very helpful. Would recommend

4 out of 5Very Good review and excellent service. Found that service of room was missed once but overall very good. Pool opening time for Children could be a bit earlier as you know they are up early

4 out of 5Stayed one night with my daughter and choose the Clarion Liffey Valley as she was attending a Training Day at the Shopping Centre.Great location as she was able to walk over from the hotel. Our Twin room was clean and comfortable, and the leasure centre was great. We had breakfast in our room and it arrived on time, hot and very tasty.

1 out of 5I was not impressed with this hotel. First of al the staff where not very friendly at check in. we had alot of baggage and where not offered any help in bringing them upstairs. We had booked two rooms. I had requested a double in both but instead we got two single beds pushed together which was so annoying and uncomfortable when i went to complain on checking out I was told that was common practice. What annoyed me was I had emailed them specifically asking for a proper double bed but they didnt seem to care. The hotel was very busy as there was a wedding. Our room was directly opposite the function room so we were kept up half the night with the music. When we finally got to sleep about 2am, we were woken up with screaming and shouting outside our door with all the wedding party as they were really drunk and disordely. We had to ring security to come up. They did come up and try and calm them down for a while but the talking continued into the night and we were unable to get back to sleep. It was terrible. We complained on check out and the member of staff wasnt one bit sympathetic to us. I wouldnt stay here again and don't recommend it to anyone!
0.3
5 out of 5We spent four nights in your hotel. I have to addmit that at first when we saw the hotel we were afraid that it might be noisy. We had 2 years' old granddaughter with as so you can understand our fear. An exceptionally nice receptionist (I'm sorry I do not remember her name)on my request for a quieter part of the hotel put us in the part of the hotel with suits. It was absolutely grand. Very clean, comfortable and suitable for our needs. We needn't to worry about our breakfasts and suppers. It took us only fifteen minutes to get to the city centre so our visitors from Poland were fully satisfied. To conclude, all I can say is that should we come again to Dublin we will stay again in Clarion Liffey Valley Hotel. We will also recommend it to our friends.

4 out of 5We really enjoyed our stay. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The wedding reception was great and the food was excellent. The room was very comfortable and we will be staying there again.

3 out of 5We found the hotel to be clean and the staff professional, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location for Dublin West, it is within walking distance of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and despite it's proximity to a busy dual-carriageway there was no noise from traffic in our room. The only problem I encountered was when I rang down to the concierge and the girl I spoke to did not have very good english, as a result she was unable to understand what I was asking for. Overall we found this hotel to be good value for money and would stay there again.

4 out of 5Enjoyed our stay. Bedroom clean and tidy and fully equipped as advertised. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Leisure facilities are of a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Free secure car parking. Excellent value for money.
0.3
4 out of 5We really enjoyed our stay. We were in Dublin for a hen weekend and conciously booked somewhere a little way out of town to get "more for our money". As 4 female friends, we emailed ahead to request 4 single beds. Delivery of this would have increased our rating to Superb. The bar prices were no more expensive than we found we were paying in the town centre. The pool & spa facilities were excellant and the staff at the pool were particularly helpful and welcoming. The concierge and night manager were both excellant but I would comment that on the 3 occassions that we tried to reach the reception desk by phone (eg: to request an extra set of towels etc - our room was only furnished for 3 when we checked in)there was never any answer - the phone just rang and rang. Overall we had a very good experience and would recommend the chain to others.
0.3
4 out of 5Rooms were very comfortable, gym well equipted, restaraunt overpriced (lemongrass over the road good for food though)Staff were friendly & on hand to help.

2 out of 5over all the hotel was nice the rooms were lovely but very unsatisfied with the staff, ther were very ignorant un helpful and slow . my friend was getting married there and she was appauled at the staff.

4 out of 5The Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley was excellant. We arrived on Friday evening and were assigned an apartment to the side of the hotel. We did not expect this and it was a lovely treat. We had a huge bedroom, sitting room, fully equiped kitchen and bathroom all to ourselves at a very reasonable rate! The only "-" i could say would be their was no TV in the sitting room just the bedroom so it kinda made the sitting room area pointless! The carpark underground was a little annoying, you had to get your tickets stamped at reception, which we wernt told and had to go back to reception where they was usually a que and when you got back to the barrier after geting your ticket stamped it still didnt work!! they need to get a sign to explain the whole carparking! Other than that it was a great hotel in a great location, near the shops and a great restaurant next to the hotel called ARC!
0.3
4 out of 5Good room/bar/pool/sauna/jacuzzi . Restaurant expensive. Bar food not so good. Good location for shopping in liffey valley shopping center. Nice cosy/modern bar adjacent hotel and on hotel grounds with good views.
0.3
5 out of 5We booked the Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley at the last minute for the long weekend. We picked this hotel because of the price, location and facilities. To our surprise the hotel was amazing, the decor was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and the resturants were also lovely. We were also very impressed with the swimming pool and gym.I would really recommend this hotel to anybody thinking about it.It is beside the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre which is very handy. The hotel is child friendly also.We couldnt have asked for anything more.Very happy with this choice of hotel.

5 out of 5Just returned for Clarion Liffey Valley Hotel it was excellent value for money. The rooms were superb, exceptionally clean, light and airy. Staff were friendly and very helpful and very knowledgeable on local area. Although the hotel is a 20 to 25 minute bus ride away from the centre of Dublin the quality more than makes up for the distance. I would highly recommend this hotel as it was away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre which was great to return to after a night out. It is certainly worthy of it's 4 stars status.

4 out of 5Travelled from Galway for a meeting and checked into the Clarion Liffey. Have four children and I must say I very much chilled out on my own for the night. Staff were very helpful and polite. My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. I found this hotel very handy for Liffey Valley shopping center and for getting into the city. I asked if I could leave my car for the day after I checked out and this was not a problem and it cost nothing extra. So all in all had a very relaxing night and would most definetly stay here again.........shush don't tell the kids, I'm finally learning.

3 out of 5The room and facilities were clean, well maintained and modern. Great place to get a night's sleep if that is all you are looking for. Easy access to the airport, but not a great location as a base to explore Dublin as it is kind of out of the way.

4 out of 5Great hotel, very clean and rooms are big. Facilities excellent however breakfast was cold and overcooked! Otherwise great choice and great value for money in Dublin

4 out of 5My Husband and I stayed in your lovely suites,we were assigned this because my husband has a disability and uses a motorised scooter. The shower was not accessible for him as it was in a bath, but I enquired when checking out about an accessible shower and was told you have some rooms in the main hotel suitable which we were glad to hear and we will definitely stay again at a later date, parking was very good and easily accessible to the suites and the hotel reception. Many thanks for nice friendly staff.

4 out of 5I stayed here for two nights. Its a new modern hotel with all the facilities you would expect of a new hotel. Its clean and bright with a restaurant, bar and leisure facilities. The staff were courteous and efficient and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is adjacent to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre which is also very handy. Overall, an enjoyable stay and one I would recommend ( I have stayed there three times now! ).

4 out of 5We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there to go to a gig in town. The hotel is truely beautifully, everything finished off to the highest quality. Our room was perfect, lovely shower and bathroom facilities, would defo go back here. You couldn't fault the room in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, the way a 4 star hotel room should be. Staff very friendly, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay ! with it been so hard to get a nice hotel these days we were very impressed that this turned out so well and for such a reasonable price.

5 out of 5We stayed at Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley for 1 night only. It was all we expected & more for the price. Staff were friendly, service was excellent, bedrooms were very comfortable & clean. The leisure centre is first class. If I could find fault it would be that the corridors look very drab, they need a bit of decorating etc. All in all we will be back, excellent location for shopping & we got a taxi to city centre for a very reasonable cost.

4 out of 5Hotel is very easy to get to when traveling from the west of Ireland and is located beside an excellant shopping centre which made the trip so handy! During our trip we attended an concert in the RDS and a taxi back to the hotel was reasonable at €25. Rooms were very warm and though the hotel had provided fans in every room we still had to leave the window open all night. Overall I found the staff very helpful. I would definately stay there again.

3 out of 5WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE HOTEL. THE ROOMS ARE OF A VERY GOOD STANDARD AS IS THE HOUSEKEEPING IN THE HOTEL AND THE STAFF WERE PLEASANT. THE HOTEL WAS FURTHER OUT OF Dublin THAN WE REALISED, SO A LOT OF OUR TIME AND BUDGET WENT ON TAXI,S AND LONG BUS JOURNEYS INTO CITY CENTRE. UNFORTUNATLEY THE HOTEL WAS VERY NOISY WHEN WE STAYED WITH PEOPLE SHOUTING AND RUNNING THE CORRIDORS UNTIL ALMOST BREAKFAST.

5 out of 5Stayed here recently, excellent location, well service by motorway, shopping mall, bars & restaurants. Very clean room, helpful & friendly staff, speedy check in & out. Excellent price from RoomEx.

4 out of 5We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel, the food was superb, staff very friendly and the cleaniness of the room was outstanding. I have no doubt that we will visit this hotel again in the near future.

4 out of 5The hotel's a few miles from Dublin, but there are good transport linksinto the city. The rooms are very nice and cean. Enjoyed our stay there. Good shopping centre close by.

4 out of 5I love the Clarion. It has all the comforts I want when I am away from home - an iron and ironing board, good size mugs for coffee, wine glasses so I can bring my own bottle of wine. I love the new toiletries and there is a decent hairdrier with a nice long lead.
0.3
5 out of 5I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the Clarian. It was very reasonable in price. (70 euro without breakfast). My friend paid 89 euro on the Clarian website ( without breakfast) We had booked a double room but by coincidence on arrival we were given a family room. The room was very spacious and had all amenities including a proper iron and ironing board. I will certainly be putting 'roomex.com' into my favourites.

4 out of 5Stayed in the Clarion Liffey valley Dublin on Saturday 22nd June. Weather was awful dark sky wind and rain, we soon forgot about that when we arrived in the Clarion. Reception was just buzzing they had three very capable young ladies on duty smiles all round. We were celebrating my wife's birthday with dinner B+B in the Clarion and shopping and cinema {sex in the city]in the Liffey Valley Centre. I with a cheeky smile asked for a nice room the young lady replied with a ckeekier grin that all their rooms were very nice and i must say ours was great the bed was massive and so comfortable the decor was realy nice and spotlessy clean. We had trouble managing the lights but a duty manager arrived and sorted it very quickly my own fault of course. We had dinner in the bar service was excellent there was a nice busy athmosphere, food was gorgeous and reasonably priced. After a hearty Breky next morning we tried out the leisure centre staff were great again greeted with a smile Chris Robinson gave me a tour i retired to the jacuzi, steam room and lovely pool came out fully relaxed and extremely satisfied with our visit to the clarion. I wont be waiting for another birthday to return.

4 out of 5The hotel was lovely, very modern. The bar food excellent. Staff friendly, right beside a shopping complex complete with cinema.Rooms spotlessly clean. Free parking, complimentary broad. All around excellent value for money. Staff extremely pleasent. Highly recommend.

4 out of 5This was my first stay in Dublin, and it has inspired me to visit it again. I had booked a week-end stay to meet up with some friends from student days, and this was an ideal place to meet. The suite I had been allocated was spacious, and extremely comfortable and clean. I came away feeling really well and relaxed. There were many facilities (e.g. fitness) available in the hotel that I had no time to use during this visit, but could use more during longer stays. The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and professional at all times. When using public transport getting to the city, we met some of the hotel staff and they were equally kind and helpful even when not on duty!
0.3
4 out of 5It is a lovely hotel the rooms are done up lovely, love the decor and it is very clean. The Staff are very helpful and kind. The only thing I found wrong was that we couldn't get any food when we came back from the concert. Not even a pack of crisps. My suggestion would be to get a vending machine or something like that for after hours especially for concert goers. All that fresh air makes you hungry. But otherwise I would recommend this hotel. It is really lovely.

5 out of 5Stay on a regular basis at the Clarion, I find it spotless clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. I will continue to stay at the clarion for the near future.

5 out of 5Great hotel, great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely Decor. The only one small problem is that some of the rooms are quite a distance from reception and it might be a long walk if carrying heavy bags.
0.3
2 out of 5This hotel is located in a disadvantaged area of Dublin, this is evident as the view from the breakfast room is over looking a haulting site. The lack of English speaking staff is frustrating. The hotel has not got air conditioning this results in the building over heating and lacking ventilation. The best time to get breakfast is before 9am as it is cold after this time. The facilities are satisfactory however i would not recommend this hotel.

4 out of 5Just came back from a two-night stay in this great hotel. My husband and I were having a mini-break before the birth of our new baby. The hotel receptionists were friendly, and had designated us a lovely quiet room with a double bed. However when they saw that i was very heavily pregnant they upgraded us to a triple room which meant i got the lovely double bed to myself and ,y husband had a seperate bed (very good!) The room was extremely clean, and was cleaned the next day as well. The beds were large and comfy with loads of pillows. Room service was fantastic, my order arrived within fifteen mnutes, piping hot and plentiful. The liffey valey shopping center has a bus stop where buses pickup and drop off to go straight to Dublin City center. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone for a visit to Dublin - the only negative is the price of the breafasts, but the ARC restaurant opposite does a mini fryup for €6.95 and a huge maxi-fryup for €10.95 - loads of food for good prices.

3 out of 5When we arrived at the hotel the check-in desk gave us the wrong room swipes, so that I had to walk back down to reception to get the correct ones. Then there was no soap in the bathroom & we had to ask a cleaner in the next room for some. Also, that night I put the 'Do Not Disturb' notice on the door & despite this, the cleaner knocked on the door wanting to clean the room the next morning. I told here that we were not ready & 20 minutes later she knocked again. Seeing as there was 1hour 30mins left to check out time, I felt a bit harassed into rushing to leave. Otherwise, the room was clean & comfortable.

4 out of 5My family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed for 1 night in a four bed room which was very nice, clean and had good facilities. The staff on reception were very friendly and efficient and the check-in took just a couple of minutes. On arrival at our room we requested a baby cot which arrived within 5 minutes. We had a meal in the bar downstairs which was lovely - thai food - very tasty.Bar staff were very attentive. The only problem we had was with the phone in the hotel room which we could not get an outside line on despite numerous attempts with help from the hotel receptionist. Eventually, as it would not work the receptionist came up to our room and gave us the use of her own personal mobile phone which was beyond the service I wold expect. This seemed typical of the attitude of the staff in the hotel - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

3 out of 5The Hotel was nice and clean and the staff were lovely. We decided to have breakfast the following morning and as the restaurant was full breakfast was served in the bar and it was not set up fully. The only options on the buffet was the hot food, cereals and orange juice. It was very disappointing and we still had to pay 16 euro each.
0.3
4 out of 5The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are top class and have everything you could need. The only one complaint I have is that the bar dont have any snacks, ie crisps, chocolate and to order room service we had to pay a €50 deposit, which I wasn't willing to do as we just wanted to order a sandwich!! The hotel is situated in a great location and we will definitely be going back!!!

4 out of 5Four of us stayed the night of the Westlife concert and it was lovely and comfortable. It is very clean and the staff were very nice and courteous. Breakfast was lovely too! We enjoyed our stay and our shopping next day in Liffey Valley!

4 out of 5I enjoyed this hotel, the service was very good, the facilities were excellant and the staff were very helpful. I would definately recommend this hotel to other people. The one and only problem with the hotel was the heat it was extremely warm at night I found it hard to sleep with the heat.

5 out of 5I FIND THE CLARION AT LIFFEY VALLEY A VERY ENJOYABLE STAY, THE ROOMS ARE MODERN AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, THE STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. THE HOTEL IS CLOSE TO THE CITY CENTRE AND NEAR BUS ROUTES WITH EXCELLENT PARKING FACILITIES.

4 out of 5This hotel was lovely; fresh, airy and modern. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room/suite was like an apartment, very spacious and well equipped, a home away from home...nice toiletries, fluffy towels etc! It was such good value, we'll definitely be back!

4 out of 5We stayed in the hotel for an overnighter on our way further south. We found the hotel staff and accommodation to be very good. Check in was very efficient and the room was very comfortable with good linen, towels and toileteries provided. The inclusion of an iron and ironing board was great, as was the proper hairdryer. Would definitely stay again.
0.3
4 out of 5Rooms lovely and bright. Bathroom spotless. Bed and linen spotless also. Reception very helpful. Iron & ironing board in bedroom and also hairdryer. Was attending a party at hotel so only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay more. The proximity of Liffey Valley Shopping Centre was wonderful. Staff very helpful and couldnt have asked for more. Defintely stay again if occasion arrises.

4 out of 5We had a lovely overnight stay at the Clarion. Our roon was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we checked in with no problems at all. Staff friendly - and professional. Would stay there again, especially if we got a deal with roomex.

5 out of 5My friend and i had our 30th there, i couldnt believe the staff, they were amazing. From the minute we stepped into the hotel till the minute we left, we felt like royalty, they took care of absolutely everything, u didnt even have to ask, they took one look at you and they took over. Superb. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very stylish and up to date. The food.....so tasty, their restaurant food....delicious!!! I will definitely be recommending it to everyone i know, and we will be back!! Thanks so much, it was memorable......

3 out of 5Stayed with my daughter (12years) for 3 nights, purpose of the trip was leisure and shopping. We arrived late (23.30), and the check-in was very efficient, but a bit unpersonal. Large hotel, very long and dull corridors, but the room was very delicate and fresh with lovely soaps and stuff in the bathroom. The room was nicely cleaned every day. We enjoyed the pool, but wished that the swimming periods for older children were extended. Liked the Kudos bar, disliked the breakfast; little to choose from and overprized. We got lovely Irish breakfast for under half the prize at the bar across the street. The hotel is a short walk from a very good shopping center, with cinemas and cafees, which gave us plenty of things to do near the hotel. Easy access to Dublin centre using the nearby local bus. On the plus side: nice rooms, good pool, hotel good situated for our purpose. Friendly and helpful "info/touristdesk". Could be better: Breakfast and swimming periods for children. I e-mailed in advance to ask if we could get a quiet room away from the motorway, and how to get to the hotel from the airport. The answer confirmed the quiet room, and recommended a taxi to the hotel.- We got a room facing the motorway, and found out after arriving that an airport bus runs close by.

4 out of 5The kids loved the pool but would have loved to have the use of inflatables. We had asked for the kettle to be changed in the room but it wasn't done so. Other than that we had a really good time.

4 out of 5Great Hotel with excellent facilities, great location for shopping in Liffey Valley! Would recommend

4 out of 5This is a regular hotel for me when I am working in Ireland. The rooms, staff & service never fail to please & the pool is always a refreshing bonus! With easy access from the airport & into Dublin City centre via the M50 & other routes, it's hard to beat
0.3
4 out of 5As always I could not fault the Clarion Liffey Valley. Rooms are clean, nice decor and well equipped, love the proper hair dryer and not those useless little things that blow your hair around! If something missing that is meant to be included, don't wait till after you stay to complain, contact reception and they are always quick to sort it. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Would recommend and definitely will be back.

5 out of 5We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was Fabulous and very big with a massive bed which was very comfortbale. It also had a balcony which would be lovely for the summer months. The hotle bar is vey nice and the staff are all very friendly. The pool are is also quite relaxing. We had a meal in the lemongrass Restaurant across from the hotel which the reception staff are quite happy to book for you. The hotel is quite ideal if you would like to do some shopping and stay in a fabulous hotel. In all we could not fault this hotel at all we really enjoyed our stay.

4 out of 5The check in was very professional The room very clean and the bathroom had plenty of lotions and potions. The staff could not have been nicer and the service was excellent. We had dinner in one of the restaurants and the menu was varied and the food and wine list very good. I would recomment this hotel. We did not have time to use the swimming pool

5 out of 5We found the whole hotel staff extremely pleasant and helpful. We ate in the bar and had excellent food and really enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to an executive room and this was fabulous.

4 out of 5we had booked a triple room, but there was only 2 cups and saucers, and two bath towels, and hand towels, that was the only thing wrong with the room.

4 out of 5Just stayed at the clarion for one night. Standard Double room with huge bay window. Room decor was beautiful. Swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi really makes the hotel. Nice and quiet. We have stayed in many hotels without these facilities and they indeed make a difference. Only thing i would fault it on was the room service. We received some bar food and it was slightly cold! Overall we were thouraghly enjoyed our stay and would definatly go back!

4 out of 5A friend and I stayed here overnight and we were very happy with the room, it was very clean and comfortable. the breakfast was great, good variety and tasty only problem was that the tables were not cleared soon enough and we had to wait for a table. Location wise it was great, right beside Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and a great lively bar, definitly stay again
0.3
4 out of 5The hotel was well located especially for the shopaholics considering Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is located within walking distance of the hotel. It was great that there was free parking as alot of hotels I have stayed at recently now charge ontop of the price you pay for room which seems ridiculous. We stayed for 2nights and the room was immaculate and had a very modern design. The beds were comfortable which is a big plus. We ate in the hotel on one of the nights and the food was amazing and the pricing is very reasonable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I'll definately stay at the Clarion Liffey Valley again as I definiately got my monies worth!

4 out of 5I was very happy with this hotel. The rooms was really nice, very clean, nice decor, towels & bed linen. Our room rate did not include breakfast so we did not eat in the hotel.Overall I was very happy with this hotel & would stay there again.

4 out of 5I recently stayed in the Clarion Liffey Valley during a rugby weekend and was really happy with the service provided. I arrived early and staff were extremely friendly and were able to give me a room immediately despite being fully booked the night before. The room was faultless- clean, quiet, plenty of toiletries etc. and being a girl, I was delighted that it had a REAL hairdryer which was not attached to something so I didn't spend the night looking like I was electrocuted!! it also had an ironing board & iron which was great. We had a gorgeous meal in Kudos restaurant the following day & had such a nice time, we decided to stay another night. Great weekend and would well recommend staying here as so close to city centre.

4 out of 5Extremly comfortable well equipped bedroom. Enjoyed visit to first class leisure centre. Would highly recommend. Friendly greeting at reception.

4 out of 5Excellent rate from this website for a one night stay in Dublin. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stop over its pretty close to the city and is a good standard hotel. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice in the buffet and good service. There is a gym and swimming pool next door which looked good and two very good restuarants to choose from.

4 out of 5My partner and I live busy lifestlyles and we decided to pick a night and pick a hotel. We chose the Clarion Hotel in Liffey Valley where we were warmly greeted at reception and shown to our room. Our room was really lovely, very modern and comfortable but above all it was extremely clean. I headed to the spa cemtre for a bit of pampering and a dip in the jacuzzi, it was just what the doctor ordered !! Later that evening we headed downstairs for a drink at the bar, I have to comment on the staffs friendliness and effeiciency. They really were most helpful and you could tell there was a team atmosphere at play. We sadly checked out after our delicious breakfast and headed home. The topic for the jorney home was " when are free to go back " !!!

4 out of 5I have to travel to Dublin weekly for medical treatment. What is often a difficult trip is made easier by staying in this hotel. The rooms are always spotless and very comfortable. The food is very tasty and the two restaurants offer wide variety of choice and cater for all budgets. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient. There is a nice ambience to the hotel. It is also nice and quiet at night time ensuring a good nights sleep! What more could you ask for?

3 out of 5I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been satisfied. However, the standard seems to have slipped somewhat. My minibar had nothing in it. There was no stationary in the room so I have to go to the lobby to write a letter. The cleanliness of the hotel was less than usual. (grubby plates at breakfast, table not cleaned from previous customer, yet we were still seated and the table didn't get cleaned) I do hope it was only a temperory slip-up but I have stayed there in June, August, September, October, November and now December and this was the first less than average experience

4 out of 5We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reception hall was nicely decorated for Christmas and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor and was clean and tidy with the usual comforts. It was very quiet and though the hotel was full we did not hear any noise from other guests. We used the pool during our stay and this was very nice with a high standard of changing facilities. We did not have dinner but there was a good variety of hot food for breakfast and the hotplates were filled up regularly. All in all, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
0.3
3 out of 5Beautiful hotel in a great location close to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre but was disappointed with the noise level in the corridor outside our room during the night. There were people going up and down the corridor ALL night talking and being very noisy. Also the room was extremely hot and we were unable to turn the heating down. When I contacted the reception they asked me if we wanted a fan! Also none of the channels on the TV were working. Breakfast was excellent and the pool facilities were superb. I would go back to the Clarion again.
0.3
4 out of 5The rooms were excellent and extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends. One recommendation relates to service at the breakfast; it appeared to be understaffed or else those staff involved in serving the tea/coffee etc were not organised in a optimum manner.
0.3
4 out of 5had a very nice stay at the hotel, if i had any fault it would be the power of the water in the showers, otherwise great. staff excellent, staying there again in a couple of weeks so hope to use more of the facilities on offer

5 out of 5Upon entering the the front door we were met by a very professional and enthusiastic young man who bid us a warm welcome and offered to carry our bags to the check in desk. This attitude from the staff continued throughout our stay. We ate in the hotel on all 3 nights and found the food superb aswell as excellent value. Staff were honest regarding the choice of food and were only too happy to help. The room was spotless, spacious and secure. The card access worked flawlessly. Car parking problems were never a factor and, above all...... Free! The hotel has a fantastic leisure centre. It is perfect for a hard sweat or a total relaxing experience. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who visits Dublin.
