I stayed in this hotel with a friend for three nights. Even prior to our arrival the staff were extremely helpful, responding promptly to emails and recommending the best route to get to the hotel via public transport. The room itself was comfortable and large enough given that it's a two star hotel. Our room was at the back of the hotel so there was no street noise. The only thing I would say about it is that because the rooms have wooden floors you could hear quite a bit of noise from the rooms above and beside us. The location was excellent - it was a 2 minute walk to the nearest Metro station, and a 5 minute walk to Sagrada Familia which is a must-see for anyone staying in Barcelona. We also walked into the city centre one of the days which only took 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone going to visit Barcelona. It's an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful city. It certainly feels like more than a 2 star, and is excellent value for money.
