The name of the hotel is in memory of a Pisan monk, lover of optic physics, who studied and spread the use of glasses. This is a tribute to all those who carry out their job with passion and put it at someone else's disposal. It was once a beautiful mansion in the centre of the town and then it was turned into one of the most elegant hotels of superior quality. Comprising a total of 16 rooms, the air-conditioned establishment welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities on offer to guests include a hotel safe, lift access, a newspaper stand, bar, breakfast room, WLAN Internet access and room service. For an additional fee those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park.

Location

The hotel is located in the town centre. It is easy accessible from the railway station, from the airport and from the bus station and very close to the Congress Palace and to the historical part of the town.

How To Get There

From the motorway FI-PI-LI (Florence-Pisa-Livorno): Follow the signs for the historical centre-railway station. In the town centre, follow the white signs for the hotel.

Room Description

The hotel has quiet and spacious rooms, with pieces of furniture in solid wood, marble and parquet inlay and authentic paintings. In every room guests will find an en suite bathroom with shower, individually regulated air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV, a telephone, safe, minibar and Internet connection. Furthermore, all rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, double bed and a balcony or terrace.
