Alexander Thomson Hotel Glasgow

Fantastic hotel free wifi, hot breakfast, spacious room, great customer service and a central location for under 50 euro a night. Can't go wrong really!

would have no probelm reccomending this hotel to anyone staying in Glasgow.overall the stay was superb and a big thank you to all the staff at the alexander thompson hotel.

We stayed one night in this hotel and for the cost it was acceptable,but we will not return nor reccommend it to others. The room was small and we were unable to avail of pc connection, the t.v. had only a few channels, but the Staff were both unfriendly and unhelpful, especially when we informed them of the loss of my purse.

Hotel was very comfortable . Staff were very friendly and location was excellent close to Central Station and city centre

THis is a little gem of a hotel, right beside Central Station (directly opposite the Radission), very cheap (approx €50 per room) the rooms are recently renovated, and the hotel is been modernised. Breakfast is included and is a fine spread, the only minor complaint there is that it finishes quite early at 9.30 sharp. Overall staff are very friendly and hotel is clean, the bar is very erratic and seems to open and close when they feel like it. Sometimes they served drink but we werent allowed to drink it there we had to go to the rooms to drink it, was a bit strange.

stayed over the week-end with my son. rooms clean and tidy. plenty of towels for use. within 1 minute of Central Station and walking distance of Central Glasgow. staff very helpful if you need any directions, buses, taxis etc. excellent value for money.
