Alimara Hotel Barcelona

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alimara Hotel, the room was second to none, we had a brilliant view overlooking the mountains and the metro was just a few minutes walk away. The breakfast was great as well as the restaurant food. The only suggestion we would make is that maybe they could put on a "daily special" or maybe change the menu some evenings. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful,

Two uncomfortable plastic chairs in the room with poor lighting. Weak air conditioning. Terrible bathroom sink design. Good beds and excellent buffet breakfast. Would not consider this hotel to be 4 stars. Metro one city block away.

I stayed a week in alimara Hotel; No problem with the booking, all correct; With a location a bit far from the city center, it has a metro station 2minutes walk; You can easily rent a car; has a lot of free parking near the hotel; The road accesses are very good; The room had a lot of space, (it was in the end of the hall so it had a balcony) and quiet; No noise at all despite being so close of the Ronda de Dalt; It was clean; The Staff were very nice and effective; If you're looking for a nice hotel, not luxurious, and not central, with good public transportations to visit Barcelona this is a choice to consider;
