The first hotel built in Chalkidiki, this hotel was reconstructed in 2000 and is probably the only hotel built right on the shore. The beach on which it was constructed is one of the cleanest in Chalkidiki and has been awarded a 'Blue Flag' by the European Union. Comprising 112 rooms and 14 suites, the air-conditioned hotel offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a newspaper stand and a TV lounge. Dining and drinks are provided in the bar and restaurant. Internet access and a car park are also provided.

Location

The hotel is situated directly on the beach (20 m away) in the Kallithea area on the east cost of Kassandra - the first finger of the Halkidiki peninsula. It is about 50 minutes from the town of Thessaloniki. There is a bus station around 200 m from the hotel.

How To Get There

From the airport of Thessaloniki follow the signs to Moudania. Following theses signs there is the national road to Halkidiki. Following this road - and passing through the towns of Nea Moudania, Nea Potidea, Nea Fokea and Afitos - will lead directly to Kallithea.

Room Description

The hotel features rooms and suites all fully renovated and equipped with a refrigerator, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, satellite/cable TV and a hairdryer. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower and bath. Further standard in-rooms amenities include a double bed, direct dial telephone, radio, safe and a balcony or terrace.

Buffets are served for breakfast and dinner.

Sports/Entertainment

Guests may take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool, children's swimming area, poolside snack bar, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Active guests may go jet skiing or canoeing. The Porto Carras Golf Club is some 82 km from the hotel.
