This is a very modern hotel in the Glories district of Barcelona. I had a room on the 10th floor with a grand view out over the city. The room itself was large and the bathroom was also spacious and included a bath (great after a days walking / sightseeing). The furniture is very modern, and the rooms have wooden floors. The reception is also in a very modern style. There is a nice buffet breakfast on the ground floor, with a good selection of food. There is also a large shopping mall very close to the hotel, and if you walk down the Rambla del Poplenou (a lovely street with cafes and benches) you will get to the beach in about 20 minutes. It is also possible to walk into the centre of Barcelona (the Plaza Catalunya) but you are probably better taking the Metro from Glories station. The area around the Metro station is a bit of a building site, but don't let that put you off. I would reccomend this hotel for a business traveller, or anyone who wanted a base in Barcelona outside of the main tourist zone downtown.
