The hotel is located in the centre of town, a few minutes from the rail and bus terminal along a main road. The hotel can be found in the heart of the famous Grassmarket, with its charming shops, restaurants and quaint pubs. This is an excellent location, as Edinburgh Castle is opposite, providing great views from the hotel bedrooms.

Hotel staff were very helpful. We arrived on early flight and were put in a queue for an early room. We were given a room at 1.30 instead of the normal 2.30 check in. The situation of this hotel for tourists is perfect and I would recommend it to anyone I know who would be intending to visit Edinburgh.

Had a good time staying at the Apex International Hotel, Edinburgh. Excellent location, very central with lots of good pubs and restaurants near by. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good quality and reasonably priced. Very happy with my stay.
