The location of this hotel is ideal for a city break. About a ten minute walk to O'Connell Bridge. There is a tourist bus stop across the road from the hotel which operates a hop on hop off tour of the city. We were in Dublin to see a play in the Gaiety which is only a 10 minute walk away and it is practically next door to the Olympia. There is entertainment in the hotel bar every evening. Our room was quite large and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The only( small) fault is that even with the window closed there is quite a bit of traffic noise.

I'd definitely stay in this hotle again. It is a very nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early which was handy. It is situated very close to everything in Dublin city. My only problem was that we were staying on the first floor at the front of the hotel. You could hear music from the bar and the taxis out the road, but i managed to sleep eventually. Thankfully you didn't hear other people in the hotel either in other rooms or in the corridor which is good. Breakfast was really good, instead of self service from food thats been sitting out for a while you got to order from a good choice and it was freashly cooked and served to you by a waitress, not bad for a reasonably priced hotel.

Very clean hotel, the staff were very friendly. The only critisism i can make is the hotel room was very cold, even with the radiator on full, you literally had to put your hand on the radiator to feel the heat from it. I know it was December we were there but the heat from radiator was very very poor. We had stayed at another hotel in Dublin the night before, had no problems with the room temperature, wish we had stayed there.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel with my dutch boyfriend. The only problem was the curtains in the room were falling off the windows and they could not be attached as the pieces were missing. the noise from the street was terrible and we complained about the breakfast as there were no cups or butter delivered with the breakfast. The coffee was stale and thick so we could not drink it. We did tell the reception and we were not charged for the room service. The staff were lovely and pleasant and i would stay there again. But i would request a room at the back of the hotel.

I found the process of finding a hotel ...
I found the process of finding a hotel and booking it very simple. I've used Romex.com on a few occassions now and have never been let down. I'll definitely reuse it and recommend it onto family and friends. We are a family of four – two adults & two young children. We booked a family room in Dublin's Temple Bar and were very pleased with the room we got; A double and 2 single beds. Absolutely perfect. We all had a great breakfast included and it was fantastic value for money while being in the centre of the capital. We were also pleased that evening entertainment was going on in the hotel, so we didn't have to leave because it was a chilly night. The music and dancing was very good and even though we couldn't stay till the end, we really enjoyed it and couldn't hear it once we went to our room on the first floor. Overall - we give it a Very Good rating. One downfall is that it is not Wheelchair or Buggy friendly. The front door is via 3 or 4 steps, and access from the hotel to the bar is also via 2 or 3 steps.

We had to switch rooms due to a blown fuse and a very poor bed. The second room's bed was better but the dryer would stop and start repeatedly when using it. Also, the hotel's restaurant was closed due to construction. The check-in person said there was a bottle of wine in our room for compensation of the closed restaurant, but there wasn't. On a good note, the breakfast was pretty good and had a lot of variety and the wait staff was very friendly with great service. The location of the hotel was very convenient.

The hotel was very central to the city. Very friendly staff and fabulous restaurant & bar attached to hotel. Our room was very nicely furnished and bedding looked lovely. Although we were at the front of the hotel on 2nd floor the road is very busy and noisy could do with double glazing. Our only fault with the hotel was the bathroom which was very small and in desperate need of a make over.

THis hotel was comfortable. The breakfast very good. Actually the adjoining italian restaurant was very good. It is very close to everything though with the hop on hop off bus stop right across the road. The problem I had with this hotel was one of the front counter staff (a lady) was quite scary and not welcoming at all. We always tried to request things when she wasn't there. The cost of staying here on a weekend is close to extortion.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. We chose it because of its closeness to the Olympia Theatre and we were very happy with the friendliness we met at the reception desk. The attached resturant was clean, friendly, good food and good value. We have to return to Dublin in the next few weeks and we are in the process of rebooking with this hotel.

First time to Dublin. Hotel was in great location, walking distance from everything handy yet not too close to the hugely noisy night spots, and also easily accessible to and from airport shuttle location. It was not new by any means, but still very comfortable. We always had hot water. Felt safe for 3 travelling girls in unfamiliar territory. Great breakfasts and the pub was also excellent for a mid-afternoon pint or an evening starter. Great staff and service.

The hotel is located in a perfect place. ...
The hotel is located in a perfect place. Right on the boundary of temple bar zone so you reach a huge variety of pubs and restaurants withing a one minute walk and on the other side you don't get the noise coming from those places (music, people until 2-3 in the morning). The staff was helpful and friendly. Our double room was a triple room so there was planty of space. Bath was clean and recently refurbished. I definitely would stay there again.
