Astor Court (Oxford Circus) Hotel London

I was a bit apprehensive staying there after Reading the reviews but it was at the top of my price range so couldn't book something else. The location is great, you are on Oxford Street in about 8 minutes walk. Lobby is nice and modern. The rooms decor is very dated and the toilet is in a separate room from the bath/shower and sink so you have to go out of the toilet and into another room to wash your hands which is weird! There was a vent above the shower that really freaked us out- we were worried there could be a peeping tom or a camera up there-there probably wasn't but it did look conspicuous, it was more like a door to an attic than a vent- they should really get rid of it. For that reason I dont think id stay there again- well not on my own anyway I probably wouldn't feel safe. The toilet and bathroom doors did not close properly let alone lock. The room was clean though. The breakfast was very basic just continental but did the job. Overall I probably wouldnt recommend it- location great- rooms dated and spooky!

The hotel is very very limited in its services. When I ask a help it takes very long time. Nobody helped me with my things.

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay in the hotel.. It is located in a very good location... The hotel room itself is very basic but very clean.. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it ot other people also.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly. The apartments were great. Very spacious with everything you need. Would definitely stay there again.
