had a terrible experence during our stay at the auburn .... awake all night with banging on doors etc at 5 in morning 2 men burst into room ..the manager was not one bit helpfull ....dont stay there......

Food was awful - no taste at all and served within 5 minutes which says alot. I told the waitress that the food was awful and she didn't say anything.Room was very old fashioned. Would not stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for business reasons and was very pleased with all aspects of my stay. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.

We stayed for two nights in total. We were in town to attended a family funeral.The room was clean and tidy but was far away from the reception area and the bar. The hotel was very quite which one would expect in mid January. The staff were not friendly and did not make us feel welcome. The only member of staff that we found to be outgoing and friendly was the lady that helped in the Breakfast Room. The hotel is good value for money and has the added bonus of gym and leisure facilities. We would definitely stay here again, but the staff could do with some training to make them more customer orientated.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed in the Auburn Lodge on the 21st Nov. '08 just for one night.Our initial impressions on arriving were that the hotel seemed modern and cosy.That was until we saw the room.It was nothing like the brochure.The one we stayed in was very old fashioned.Plain carpets,plain curtains and one colour on the walls.The tiles in the bathroom have to have been older than I am!Having said that we had gotten a very good price for the room so I cant complain.It would have been nice however if the cleaning staff had knocked on the door before walking in on the day of our departure as I was getting dressed.She said we were supposed to have checked out half an hour ago.Assuming this to be true, although we were never told a check out time, a simple knock would have been appreciated :)All in all the hotel was average to good considering the price.Breakfast included in price was a nice touch.Would recommend this hotel for short stays but if you want something more comfortable you will have to pay for it I'm afraid.

Nice hotel 1km outside of Ennis town. The rooms were very warm but apart from that no complaints. value for money

We came back to the Auburn Lodge because we enjoyed our first stay very well. The staff on both occasions were friendly and our stay on both occasions were very pleasant for a very reasonable rate. We would recommend the hotel and hope to return again.

I booked 8 rooms for the night of the 18th April through Roomex and we were all very pleased with the facilities within this Hotel. Staff were very pleasant, the food was excellent and it is a Hotel that we would all visit again.

Enjoyed our stay very much,staff were very nice and helpful.

Check in was perfect and lady very nice however had a bit of an incident in the bar. But that was one mans fault. The lady in reception and also lady in the bar didn't want to let a 2 year old go hungry. so very thanks to them. Rooms clean even though a bit dated
