Banks Mansion is an excellent hotel , Location is brilliant . Rooms are perfect, staff very efficient & friendly ,we spent 2 nights 1st & 2nd march'08 . Great ambience in lobby and definitely gave us a homely feeling . Drinks , nibbles and mini-bar were a very nice touch & a most welcome asset. Would certainly stay there again when in Amsterdam .Highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking of a trip to the "Dam".Rooms were perfect , Bathroom superb ,Shower amazing , Matress Out of this world as so are the Pillows !

This a great hotel and worth and the extra money. The location is very central and the free mini bar in the room and snacks and drinks in the lounge make this a fantastic hotel to come back to after a busy day. The free internet access in the lounge is also useful. Breakfast was great with freshly cooked pancakes and English newspapers. The rooms are well designed and the steam shower was a nice surprise. I would not book anywhere else in Amsterdam as it would only be a disappointment after the Banks Mansion.
