Room and laundry services are provided, whilst guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the car park. Those wishing to explore the island can hire bikes from reception.

Location

Thia beach resort is located on the south-western coastline of Mahe, the main island of the Republic of Seychelles. It is by the Anse Intendance beach, 20 minutes from the nearest disco by car, and within 1 km of the centre of Takamaka, where guests will find a range of shops. The capital of the Seychelles, Victoria, can be reached in 45 minutes by car and Seychelles International Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

Room Description

Every villa is luxuriously equipped with its own private swimming pool, pavilion and king-size bed. Guests can choose between the Beachfront spa pool villa, the Hillside pool villa and the Pool villa by-the-rocks. Facilities common to all accommodation include a bathroom with bathtub/shower, and in-room amenities such as a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, stereo system, Internet access, minibar/fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a safe. Individually regulated air conditioning units and balconies or terraces also feature.

Meals

The hotel offers 3 restaurants - the Saffron (Thai cuisine), the Au Jardin d'Epices (western and Creole cuisine) and the La Varangue Bar (cocktails) - as well as in-villa dining, in which guests can enjoy local and international cuisine and specialised BBQ cooking. Guests can choose between bed and breakfast and half-board stays, with breakfast being served in continental or buffet style and lunch and evening meals available à la carte. An additional buffet is served in the evening and a set menu is also available for dinner.

Sports/Entertainment

Guests can indulge in calming treatments carried out within their villa or in one of the spa's luxurious hillside pavilions, nestled amidst the lush tropical vegetation and natural granite boulders. A high ceiling, resembling a splendid silky sunshade, can be found above the exquisite spa therapy beds, and guests can gaze at it whilst they are being spoilt with spa and massage treatments. Other recreational facilities available at this resort include an outdoor pool with poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols, and a sauna, hot tub and steam room. Guests can try their hand at a range of water sports, including diving, sailing, catamaran boating and canoeing, or can play tennis, go horse riding or cycling, or can work out in the gym. Golf is also an option.
