Customer Reviews for Barkston Gardens Hotel London
Our Customer stayed here in August 2011
This was my first time to stay in Barkston Gardens Hotel but it won't be my last! It's in an ideal location, less than 10 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station, so very handy for sight-seeing. The hotel itself was very clean, with a nice lobby area and a bar. The room (I was sharing a twin room) was a decent size and very clean, as was the bathroom and had all the usual things like hairdryer, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast (we had continental breakfast included in the price)was fine and you also had the option of paying a little extra for the full English breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay there again on another visit to London.

The Hotel is the perfect location for access to Heathrow and Central London. The tube station is only a few minutes walk away. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. My single room was basic, slightly old-fashioned, but spotlessly clean. I would use the hotel again and would recommend it to others.

Barkston Gardens is literally a three minutes walk from Earls Court tube station so it is very convenient.
The room was bigger than the average budget hotel in London if a little dreary but it was clean, warm and had all the essentials.
Free wifi is also a plus.
Staff were friendly although the breakfast room manager was in a hell of a hurry to clear the room bang on 10.00 am on a Saturday morning.
Breakfast is ok - cereal, fruit, some cold meat etc - filling enough.
Free Independent (English version not Irish Independent) a nice touch.
Would you use again.
