Hotel Description
The medium-sized bedrooms all have double glazing and have recently been redecorated to a very high standard with bright colours, predominantly reds and yellows. The bathrooms are also in a very good condition but have a shower only. The restaurant is located off the lobby and is very cosy with dark wooden furniture. The bar is also incorporated into the restaurant with a juke box and plasma television on the wall. The restaurant is open throughout the whole day and offers a Dutch/International menu. In the summer months, there is also a small patio where one can have a drink or something to eat. This is a purpose-built, modern building. The lobby is small with limited seating but there is also a small lounge/library which offers further comfortable seating and free Internet access. This is a lovely little property, offering the personal touch, ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but within very easy reach of the main attractions. jg/07/2008
Area Information
This hotel is located in the south of Amsterdam, close to the motorway on the inside of the ring road. It is 10 minutes by tram #1 from the Leidseplein and 20 minutes by tram #1 and #17 from Central Station. It is also close to Lelylaan train station from where the train to Schipol takes less than 10 minutes. It is also within walking distance of the beautiful Vondel Park, which in itself is 20 minutes by foot from the Leidseplein, PC Hoofstraat and the Museumplein.
