Fantastic time!!! Stayed here midweek for my fiances birthday. Staff were extremely efficient and couldnt do enough to ensure we were well looked after. Rooms were bigger than expected and rainfall shower a nice surprise. Highlight of the stay was My Thai restaurant food was exceptional and prices were reasonable for the service and quality we received. Only one downfall was the noise after 12 as the dj downstairs plays till 1am.

Stayed in the hotel for one nights stay on Saturday just gone. To be honest i wasnt expecting too much, the pictures from this site & the hotels own site, really dont do it any justice to it at all! Upon arrival i was greated by an English gentleman - who was extremely helpful and Courteous and very welcoming. We were advised of a offer which allowed us to upgrade to a king room (i reccommend doing this if at all possible!)The room was great, the bed was extremely comfortable and bathroom was really nice and clean and had a lovely ambience - obne downside - the shower was easily flooded - but i just took the hair stopper out of it and drained easily enough. Dined in My Thai, again great service - being a chef, i am a bit of a critic when it comes to eating out, however the starter of spring rolls was deffinitley not serving temperature. But that could have been just a one off I'd heartily reccommend a stay in this hotel.

Lovely mod hotel Food excellent and staff very friendly and helpful Was visiting a patient in the Beacon Hospital and found the car parking arrangements great. Price on the Beacon Hotel for that weekend was €130/room/night Roomex price was €89.10 All in all, a great stay.

While my stay was short (ony 1 night) I don't have any complaints with the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient and I especially loved the boutique feel to the hotel (even in the lifts!). Both the bar and reception area were nice areas to relax in. Our room was quiet (as requested at check-in) and spotlessly clean. The standard of the bedroom and bathroom was the highest that I've encountered in a long time. I was doubting the quality of the room given the great price on Roomex.com but I couldn't have asked for better. Breakfast wasn't included but we decided to go down for it and we were glad that we did. There was loads of choice from smoothies, to waffles and the usual full Irish. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I would have no hesitation in returning again. In fact I'm looking forward to staying there again. Hopefully next time for a bit longer.

We had a superb stay in the Beacon, the room was beautiful, breakfast was fabulous and the Thai restaurant was amazing, highly recommend the Beacon, definitely going back!!

Real Miami Beach style to the hotel which was unusual but enjoyable at the same time! Staff were very friendly and amenable and the service was very good. Food and beverage was of a high quality too. Location was great too. Only thing I'd have improved upon is that our room didn't have AC which meant it was a little stuffy without the windows open and also the curtains didn't block out much morning light so black blinds would have been good. DVD player in a hotel room of this quality is also a must. All in all though, a place to be recommended.
