The restaurant provide a traditional setting - one of the oldest parts of this 13th Century Coaching Inn.
This 13th Century Coaching Inn is made of Cotswold Stone with an ivy clad facade. The courtyard has a small patio area and is surrounded by cottages and smaller buiders which house some of the hotels' bedrooms.
The lobby and public areas have many antiques and traditional furnishings. The hotel is ideally located for a relaxing stay and conveniently placed near Oxford.The hotel became a hideaway for Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor as has played host to many celebrities, royalty and politicians.(09/08 DB)

Our Customer stayed here in June 2010
Very nice hotel. I asked for the big bed and got one! Only minus point was no air conditioning and the room was very hot. Good breakfast.
