The rooms are, in the opinion of this writer, some of the nicest in Zurich. Designed by the same genius responsible for the famous "Widder" boutique hotel, they are beautifully simple, using mostly organic materials to create a calm, comfortable environment in which to sleep, relax, or work. The bathrooms are also quite lovely, and it goes without saying that both room and bathrooms are in exceptional condition. The breakfast room is wonderfully light and airy with beautiful views over the lake. The building is traditional in style, though hardly eye-catching. One half of the ground floor level is actually a high class car showroom, whilst the other half belongs to the hotel. The small lobby is reached via a discreet entrance. The walls and floor are entirely of beautiful green marble, with a modern wood reception desk.
