All rooms are recently renovated to a superb standard and offer charm and warmth. The furniture is of very dark wood and the ceilings are high and there is a real sense of tradition to the hotel. Both have views of the river. One is used for breakfast and is the more traditional one. The other restaurant "pfeffermuehle" is more elaborately furnished with highbacked chairs with floral patterns and wrought iron work linking the wooden supporting columns. There is also a wine cellar bar called dudelkeller which has red bistro style table and chairs set beneath a low ceilinged white arch. Very attractive and imposing building with mustard coloured exterior blending in beautifully with the surounding area and backdrops of tree-lined hills. Old-fashioned wooden reception desk as its focal point. The colour scheme is autumn shades of yellows, reds and browns giving it a bright and comfortable feeling. There are many paintings on the walls giving the hotel an established look. Boppard is one of the most picturesque villages along the river Rhine.

It is a wonderful hotel overlooking the rhine, close to the ferry terminal and within easy walking distance of the station.
