We stayed at the Best Western Adams for 3 nights. Its location is very picturesque. On the water with a great view. The bar was busy & had a decent bar menu. There was also a lovely outside deck overlooking the water. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. This was very convenient as there is not much in the neighborhood. The hotel is also located about 10 mins. walk to the Boston Rail system. It's about 15 mins. to Boston using this. We chose Quincy as we were connecting with family in the town. The hotel seems to get a lot of people travelling via Logan Airport. They offer a free shuttle to the airport. Our parking was free, not sure if you are flying from Logan. Staff were friendly & courteous. A couple of peeves. We called in advance to request a fridge, & were told they were only available in executive rooms. Sorry, in this day & age, a fridge should be standard, just like hair driers, especially in summer temps. Since we were staying 3 nights, it would make sense that the room should be up to par. The first room we were given reeked of smoke & badly needed some maintenance. One thing that I have learned since coming to the U.S., a polite, firm complaint goes a long way. We were swiftly reroomed & ended up with a much nicer room + big fridge:) The Beantown Trolley Tour Group pick up at the hotel & will drop off also. However, if I had to do it again, I would take the T & then choose my tour in Boston. The trolley also picks up & drops off at multiple hotels, so an hour was added on each end with traffic & pick up/drop off. Another tip, the hotel is located on a one way street at the end of a highway off ramp. It can be very confusing if you don't know where you are going, should have listened to the GPS.
