The hotel is a former cotton merchant's mansion which has been tastefully converted into premier boutique accommodation. In March 2004 the establishment underwent a 2 million pound refurbishment that included the addition of the spectacular Conservatory Restaurant. Location
This charming hotel is set in the spacious parkland of Sefton Park, yet is less than 2.5 km outside of the city centre and within easy reach of all the major 'A' roads and motorway links as well as being conveniently located for major transport links. Restaurants, bars and pubs and the Sefton Park Palm House are all around a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Other sights such as the Albert Docks are about a 10-minute drive away and Liverpool and Everton football stadiums are approximately 15 minutes away by car. There is a bus stop about 250 m away and the hotel is less than a 10-minute drive from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
How To Get There
By car: if approaching from the city centre, head to the Roman Catholic Cathedral and turn right at the traffic lights onto Hope Street (Everyman Theatre), then turn left at the traffic lights (Philharmonic Hall); the road bends to the right and turns into Catherine Street. Go straight on at lights onto Princes Road, carry on until reaching the roundabout and then carry straight on (Croxteth Road). Turn right at the traffic lights and straight on at the next set of lights into Sefton Park. Turn right into the park and the hotel is on the right.
