The hotel was very central and within walking distance of all sites and only a few steps away from the Metro station. The staff were helpful and the breakfast substantial. THe room were of adequate size and had a double bed. However, the only reason I have not rated this hotel 'superb' was that the hotel do not turn on the air conditioning system until the begining of April which left the room incredibly warm and made it virtually impossible to sleep.The temperature outside was 30c each day. This was a great pity as it spoiled what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay. TIP: You must visit the nearby towns of Avila & Segovia.
