Breaffy Woods Hotel Mayo

Nobody at reception when we arrived. had to dial a number on a phone and nobody picked up waited five minutes still nobody Went to bar and barman had no interest in assisting us half an hour after arriving we finally got to check in

Beautifully located hotel on its own resort grounds great for exploring. Very clean and staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were lovely. Overall a recommended spot to stay.

Room was very nice, comfy bed.Nice shower. We ate in the bar,small menu but food was nice and good value.Staff all nice. leisure center nice,decent pool but very few showers working.Taxi to town was €12 for 4 of us.Breakfast was fine.

Staff very helpful, and prepared to answer any concers.

I stayed for 1 night at the hotel with my daughter and her friend in a family room that could sleep 5. The room was spotless and the bathroom was well kitted out with shower gels, plenty of towels etc. I had two small niggles, check in was very slow as only 1 member of staff was on reception & despite having prepaid my room a credit card was still required; also a kettle was provided with tea, coffee etc but no milk. I rang reception requesting milk but none arrived, and ended up having to walk down to the restaurant who could only give me a jug of milk. Without a fridge on a warm night the milk quickly went sour!

The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were very big and bright. The staff were very helpful, check in and out was very fast. Over all very good value for money. Will definately stay again. Would recommend to a friend.
