Hotel was close to centre. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and accomodating. Room was excellent. Because of the fact that this is a smaller hotel, the staff were able to give more attention to the customer. Lisbon was a terrific place for a weekend break assisted by a great hotel.

Firstly the staff in the hotel were excellent. Being unfamilar with Lisbon they were happy to provide us with a wealth of information and maps. They couldn't have been more helpful.
The hotel was well located, about 15 minute walk to the city center close to the Hard Rock café.
Breakfast was very good. Large selection of cold meats, cheese, sausages, pastries, bread, cereal etc.
The hotel has quite a bit of history attached to it, and has been refurbished back to it's original art deco style. Although we booked a double room, the room we got was more like a suite. There was no view per say (overlooking offices on the other side of the street), but the room more than made up for it. The cork floors and classic feel really made it special.
Lisbon itself is a fantastic city, and although it's a european capital, it has a very local and community feel to it. It's also very good value.
