The rooms vary in size as this is an extremely old building and all rooms are in fair condition. All are fully equipped and are comfortable. Bathrooms are smaller in size. There is a bar area to the rear of the hotel as well as Tea Rooms located next to the hotel. Both are comfortable and traditional. Built in around 1840, the hotel has a rather grand, traditional facade, which looks proudly over the famous Buchanan Street. The lobby has the reception in the centre with small seating areas to either side, as well as the bar area to the rear.
