The carlton is a lovely hotel. Pity about the view of the disused carpark outside though.
Also no sower caps in the bathroom.

First impression when approaching hotel was not good area looked like a building site that was never started, or waiting for investement to start this area should be hidden if that is possible. Entrance to hotel could do with a powerwash (dirty steps, chewing gum). Leisure centre steam room never worked, likewise water dispenser outside steam room .While most of the staff were fine one or two could do with a brushup on attitude. Toilets (mens) on ground floor were always dirty. The room we were in was excellent, shower was outstanding.
Food was o/k
