We had stayed at the Carrigaline Court Hotel before and had a very enjoyable stay therefore we were looking forward to going back. On arrival (approx 7 pm on a Friday night) we noticed four staff members lounging over the reception desk. Our check in was efficient. We were staying on the first floor looking out at the side of a warehouse type building. Our room was cold when we entered and took a while to heat up. The room itself was pleasant and it had a good size en suite. There was an unpleasant smell from the hand towels. Breakfast was very enjoyable with good selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread and hot buffet. A menu for other breakfast items was also available with plenty of choice. A lot of very friendly staff on duty. The hotel has a full leisure centre which we didn't avail of. It also has a good bar. Overall, its a lovely hotel, and we will probably stay there again.

This stay would have been perfect only for workmen to start renovating a room adjacent to us at 8am on the second floor . Twenty minutes later it was stopped due to a large number of complaints but by that time my wife was wide awake and she had been looking forward to a lie in for once . To be fair it didn't bother me as I slept through it but it was a ridiculous thing to happen .

Staff were efficiant, friendly and helpful. Room was bright, clean and spacious with everything you need including adequate toiletries in the bathroom. Only negative is that the room was very warm and the window only opened a crack and no air-con so difficult to keep cool. (and it wasn't a particularly warm day even though summer)

I found the Carrigaline Court Hotel overall rating very good, the only thing I would fault with the Hotel is that I did not find it very warm inside for this time of the year. The reception area has very little seating to relax in which is unusual as most Hotels would have a good seating area at reception, this meant you had to go to sit in some of the other small seating area which I found to be very cold areas to sit in for any length of time. Even in the Bar at night I did not find it pleasantly warm a light jacket I found you would definetly need. The food was very good, staff nice, rooms OK, kind of noisy where we were as we were faced out the side and seemed to be near some kind of generator or boiler that was buzing the whole night long. Overall quite enjoyable but could definetly put up the heating a couple of degrees as it was November, maybe mild at certain times of the day, but the nights got very cold and the bedrooms were very cold also nearly at all times.

I enjoyed the stay in this 4 star hotel. Newly furbished, contemporary and cosy, it is what you expect from a 4 star brand. Located right in the centre of the Carrigaline town, which is between Cork and Kinsale, it would suit family and tourists. It has swimming pool and nice restaurant. It could be better if DVD player fitted in the room.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carrigaline hotel. We were in Cork for a Christening. The reception hall was designed and set up beautifully, everything finished off to the highest quality. Our hotel was across the road from the church and it was an absolutely gorgeous hotel. You couldn't fault the room in any way, being clean and tidy with the usual comforts, the way hotel room should be. Staff very friendly, all in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay ! I would highly recommend anyone going to Cork to stay in this hotel, and i know i will definitely be staying there again.
