The rooms vary considerably in size and style as the hotel has refurbished its rooms at different stages. On average the rooms are medium-sized. Approximately half the rooms are in fair to good condition, as are the bathrooms. The other half of the rooms are in a new wing and are in excellent condition with modern bathrooms. Although rather small, the bathrooms are in outstanding condition. The hotel has a typical Swiss chalet-style restaurant as well as excellent Italian and Indian restaurants. The exterior of the hotel is traditional and well maintained. As the name suggests, the building is of typical Swiss chalet-style. The small lobby is in keeping with the traditional style of the exterior. The extensive use of wood and oak beams combines to create a typical chalet style. This hotel has much to offer and it is clear to see why it has become so popular. PL 06/07
