After a long flight from the UK we wanted to enjoy a little sleep, little did we know that the hotel was under going a full refurbishment. We had a nice room on the ground floor, right outside our window was the direct route the builders took to get to the site, full of chatter etc and not only that the path that they walked across had a very loose flag stone that creaked every time they walked over it and believe me it was walked over 1000's of times that morning, at one point I thought of getting up and cementing the thing down. So we got no sleep that day. the next morning the lovely builders started at 5am so not much sleep then. The hotel was nice and the breakfast was OK. But staff could have been more thoughtful and asked us if we wanted to sleep during our stay In the city.
