Arrived back from Egypt rather late, (1.00 am) so was really tired checking into hotel. Have to say both Gentlemen that were on Reception really quick and efficient - checked in and in our room within 10 mins. - really great. Room ok nothing spectacular but who cares at that hour of the morning. Went down for breakfast following morning ( we went down at about 8.00 as we had to get a train) - great selection but have to say 'the full irish' left a lot to be desired. Not one single item was hot - really felt like it had been there for over an hour.There were a few eating at that stage in the restaurant but now a lot. Besides that have to say,overall, it was an 'alright' stay in this hotel.

My husband Tony and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport when we stayed overnight prior to our journey at 8.45 a.m. December 5th.2008 to Tenerife. I find Reception staff very pleasant while efficient also when we dined both in the Bar area and Dining room all waiting staff were also caring pleasant and efficient. Staying at The Clarion on December 4th. was our fourth occasion to stay there in the past year, and we look forward to our next stay at a very well run and comfortable setting.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel, the first was perfect, the second was good, but not as good, there was a noisy group in the room next to mine, which I could hear through the walls late into the night. Other than that, I can’t fault the room (very clean and well presented), the breakfast (with a wide spread), or friendly staff.

Room was basic but comfortable with TV and an ensuite what more do you need for an over night stay. Rang the hotel about transport and it was at the airport door within a minute. Good breakfast and again transport was great back to the airport. I had no problems with this hotel, I would stay here again so convienent to the airport. Thanks

We stayed there one night to get a flight from Dublin the following day, we got to room1 & my boyfriend sat on the bed and fell straight off! One of the "legs" of the bed was broken off. I phoned reception they moved us to a room very close to the one we were in. Breakfast was included in the price, which was beautiful. Overall we had an enjoyable stay would recommend it again.

We stayed overnight before flying to Spain early the next day. The check in staff were prompt and courteous. Our room was down two flights of stairs... maybe not suitable for everyone, and there is no lift. However, our room was clean and modern let down only by the very small bathroom. Breakfast was included in our rate and again the staff were helpful and very welcoming. The food was delicious. Checking out was speedy and we found the staff very helpful about our car, which we chose to leave in the hotel carpark for our week away, due to the competitive parking rate on offer for guests of the hotel.Overall I would definetely recommend The Clarion Hotel to friends and colleagues.

The hotel was very well presented with a large reception area from which the bar and resturarant flowed. There was no waiting around at reception and our room was allocated within minutes. Whilst there was a little distance to walk to the room our cases were brought to our door by a member of staff.The room itself was very pleasing and very clean and comfortable with all one would expect in a four star hotel. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus to the airport was on hand to and from the airport as needed. This is a hotel I have since recommended to friends.

The pick up from the airport was no problem, their in a couple of minutes. the check in was great all sorted no need for credit cards etc. all done in advance.I feel as do the room which was clean and tidy as you would expect, but it was in the basement area beside the service area (a bit like it was booked on the net so that will do)but no noise or anything so it was fine......as for including the breakfast in the booking it was very good top class, but if I had to pay in the morning it was 16 euro other than that I would rate this hotel very good and roomex was great!!!!

We stayed on 19th Sept. The room was very small and downsteps, not very satisfactory. We stayed again on 27th Sept. I asked for a large room and was given abeautiful one so this was very satisfactory. Yes we were happy. The breakfasts were very good. The only other complaint was when we arrived of our plane at 10.30pm, checked in and came down for a drink, there was a birthday party on ,there werw kids running all over the place. no comfort with all the noise.

Very friendly receptionist on arrival, very helpful re times of breakfast, courtesy bus etc. The room was spotless and very comfortable and welcoming, what I liked was the supply of bathroom products in individual containers, in other hotels the soap and shower gel is in a container attached to the wall and needs muscles like superman to access them. The breakfast was superb with a large choice of cold and hot food, my only regret was that I was only there for one night.

The room very old fashioned, needs updating, especially the ensuite. Other than that, the hotel in general was great, breakfast very nice. Shuttle great, reception staff there when I needed them, other than when I asked for advice regarding Dublin, ie where do I get the bus for Guinness Brewery? They hadn't a clue and didn't know how to get me information. I feel advice for tourist would be appreciated or at least make an effort to get the information. I would stay again in the Clarion but not until all the rooms are modernised, please let me know when they are completed.

Overall stay was ok but it was for only one night. i had requested a non-smoking room but while i know this is'nt always possible, i thought a better effort could have been made to locate one. breakfast was very good with wide selection and dining area was clean . if i had to stay here for more than one night, i would have requested a change of room. otherwise quite satisfactory.

I stay regularly at Dub Clarion. Excellent food (dinner & B'fast) - very helpful and friendly staff. everything very clean and welcoming foyer. I did find a very noticeable smell of smoke in my (non smoking) room this time however and mentioned on comment card? this did not take from pleasure of my stay with my 3 colleagues. will be rebooking as I find this hotel most convenient and coach transfer really swift and drivers very helpful and courteous. I have stayed at many airport hotels but I was not that impressed with the Clarion Dublin Airport. The room was downstairs (seemed like the basement). It was a small dingy room and cramped with uncomfortable beds (it was booked as a double or twin but there where three singles squashed into the room and 2 of them where fold put-you-up type beds. The mini bar was empty although we had been asked to leave a credit card in-print incase we used the minibar in the room? Just didn't feel as comfortable as other airport hotels which I have paid less for. Luckily Roomex.com included in the cost a full irish breakfast and to be honest that was the best part of the stay the breakfast was good. Most of the other guests were hotel only and seemed to have to pay extra for the breakfast.

This is the first time to use Roomex and the Clarion Hotel at Dublin Airport. It will not be the last! Roomex offered a suberb service and was most cost effective. The Hotel's location at the Airport facilitates Business People with tight schedules. The accommodation was most comfortable, food was excellent while the ambience second to none. The stay was enjoyable in every way and we have every intention to return.

I found my stay there very relaxing and the staff were excellent and very helpful. I had a slight disability and requested a Ground floor room, which was granted without any fuss. Room service was very efficent too. They also got me a taxi within minutes! An all round good experience.

This hotel has had many names over the years and many front entrances it seems. But, behind this, the rooms have been the same all the time with a few cosmetic improvements. They're fine for one, tight for two. The main problem is with luggage which has to be dragged up or down stairs unless you are on the entrance level. But, to be fair, they do ask if you want help! Breakfast was was good for the all inclusive Roomex rate, but would be expensive otherwise. Wireless broadband only in lobby, not rooms.

A very good experience. We arrived well after midnight - due to flight delays. The receptionist was welcoming and provided a rapid and efficient check-in. Everything worked well the next morning, including the shuttle bus back to the airport.

hotel accommodation which included full irish breakfast was great value for money for the 3 of us. the hotels own website was charging more for the accommodation with no breakfast than with roomex. the breakfast was advertised as 19 odd euro and thus with booking through roomex we saved around 60 euro for one night. the rooms we very good with everything you would expect for a 4 star hotel.

All in all very happy with my stay. The room was very confortable and relaxing. The bathroom was a bit small but otherwise perfectly good too. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly. The TV reception was quite bad, which is odd since I assume it's cable. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to try the breakfast as was leaving for an early flight but looking forward to it next time. Great value for money.

The location is handy for early check in's at Dublin airport. Worth booking via you instead of directly with the hotel as your rates included breakfast and were very good whereas the hotel rate was 20euros more without breakfast.

We arrived late, after midnight - but we needn´t worry, the room was waiting for us. The room was very good with chocolate, fruit, water, newspaper etc waiting. The cooridors were a bit worn down but signs told us they were beeing renovated. We slept well and after a great breakfast(loads to choose from and helpful staff) and we were away the next day.

No elevator reserved a twin room but was given a double, this was rectified inadequate signs to indicate wheelchair access / ramps I hurt my back carrying my suitcase up and down stairs insufficient information available in the room - for example I couldn't find any information on the airport shuttle The restaurant is excellent. With an alternative hotel a few feet away, I would have expected better service. I have stayed at the Clarion a number of times, and have recommended it to others. I will be staying at the Radisson the next time I visit.

After a good but busy ferry crossing, good to get to a hotel that made you feel "wecome" staff were polite and the room v, good despite not having a double and single we had three singles (our fault for not specifying ) but no problem, The food especially the breakfast was first class as was more everything about the hotel and staff. Only thing room didnt have was a soundproof cage for our 9 year old who moaned about the function we attended and everything that didnt please his mood. But we will return in the future just the two of us for "our" weekend. Not only the service v, good from the hotel but also yourselfs at roomex and will definatly use you both again. Stayed in a lot of Dublin hotels,this one fitted the bill.

This is the fourth occasion on which I have stayed in the Clarion Dublin Airport Hotel which is in itself an indication of how satisfied I am with the Hotel. The courtesy bus service is fantastic. Having arrived into Dublin Airport at 12.40 a.m.which was 2 hours later than scheduled (my flight was delayed) I was looking forward to staying in the Clarion once more. Check-in was quick and painless. The room, the breakfast, and the overall service in the hotel, was far superior to the hotel I stayed in while I was on holiday in Italy during the previous week. I will stay in the Clarion again in the future and I have recommended it to people who have asked me where to stay in the vicinity of Dublin Airport.

Always feel welcome on arrival. Ideal place to start the chill out process prior to a foreign holiday. All staff most helpful and lovely breakfast to set one up for the flight. Enjoyed bar food on night prior to holiday and even returned for more on return . Car parking so convenient and pick up from airport is almost immediate. Now I have convinced my 2 sisters that a stay in Clarion is a must before our hols.

great location near airport our flight was at 8.15 in the morning and it was great to get up have a superb freshly cooked breakfast with happy cheerful staff and still be at airport at 6.30. The restaurant staff manager was,on duty at 6 in the morning although we left her with a full restaurant after a great good value meal €75.00 for two three course meals and bottle of wine. This was our second time to stay there and although the meal had gone up by 10.00euro and car parking was charged for the night of stay at 8euro and not charged on previous visit and it was 10euro per nite while away I would still stay there again for the convenience of location.

We had booked in for one night as we had a late flight coming back from holidays and didn't arrive until after 11 pm. The staff were very welcoming, pointing out all the facilties available even at that hour. The room was clean and tidy, and for a hotel airport was very quiet. There was also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The only problem we faced was that the shower was not working properly but as there was a bath also in the bathroom, we were not too put out by this. The following morning the breakfast was lovely and hot. Checkout was very quick and we would definitely stay at the hotel again.

As I was checking out very early next morning at 04.45am and breakfast was included in my stay, the information provided in the room was not clear so I left without ordering same. As I informed the check in staff on arrival my early departure a suggestion of "breakfast coffee and muffin to go" would have been appreciated.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Considering its proximity to the airport the room was sufficiently sound proofed so that I was not awoken by the sound of flights overhead. The room was clean and tidy, with soft towels provided. The reception hall was beautifully designed, everything finished off to the highest quality. Drinks were reasonably priced. I had dinner that evening in the hotel which one could only rate as first class, staff were friendly and the food tasted great - all meat supplied was Bord Bia approved (Irish), which is very important to me. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A very pleasant Hotel. Excellent dining facilities. I particularly enjoyed the value Dinner wherby you get a 3 course meal with a glass of wine for the very good price of €30. If there are 2 of you Dinner costs €75 with a complimentary bottle of Wine. My room was well appointed. I stayed 2 nights and had an excellent sleep each night. I would recommend this Hotel very highly.

The new lobby area and initial welcome was great. The room standard is not much beyond that of a travelodge and fairly small, but nicely decorated and potential for minibar if you pay to have it stocked. The food snacks and bar range was good plus a nice facility to check in online for free. The courtesy bus left every 30 mins but did so on time and the walk, if you missed it, wouldn't be that far. We had problems in the morning as breakfast wasn't served at the time we left. They have a handy grab and go bag to take if you preorder but they tried to charge us extra and then only gave us half of what we asked for.

Stayed in the Clarion in Sligo a few months ago and was so impressed that I chose the Clarion at Dublin Airport fro my overnight there. I was not disappointed. The cleanliness of all parts of the hotel was exceptional. The room was cosy and well equipped. As breakfast began at 6 am it meant I was able to avail of it before my nearly morning flight. The breakfast was superb with a wide range of delicious, fresh foods.It kept me going until I reached my destination in London.I liked the shuttle service which got me to the departure section of the airport in less than three minutes. The price was the cheapest of all the airport hotels I had checked out on the internet. Complaints and downsides? None.

Although I didnt get to use the gym/pool facilities at the hotel (so I cant comment on these) - I felt the hotel itself was very comfortable and the renovations to the lobby, restaurant and bar are very good. The room was as on a par with most other good hotels I have been in with trouser press, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc readily available. As for previous reviews about lack of wakeup call - this should no longer be a problem as there is now a facility to set this yourself on the television (which I didnt use myself as I was only there for a short break and didnt need a wakeup call).

After initial confusion regarding our reservation we were allocated a very nice room. However when we went for somethig to eat in the bar we were billed for items we did not order,this was rectified once it was brought to the attention of a senior staff member.We had a super breakfast the following morning. Overall our overnight stay at the Clarion was very enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our evening and night at the Clarion. We had a very long flight the next day, so it was especially nice to relax in the lounge, have a lovely meal(very good menu)and later to retire to a very confortable quiet room. I really enjoyed my stay at the Clarion Hotel (Dublin Airport). I used this hotel as my base for my weekend visit to Dublin. First impressions aren't the best but the interior is much more modern than the exterior. Beautiful lobby and bar area on entering the hotel. Plenty of seating areas around the lobby as this is the only area to access WiFi. Probably a good thing otherwise I would be working away in my bedroom. Rooms a bit on the small side but very nice. Plenty of TV channels and no noise from the nearby airport getting in. All bedroom are on the one level so it can be a long walk but this only burns off the excellent choice of breakfasts. All the staff I met were very friendly and I requested an iron and ironing board and I had one delivered within 5 minutes. Bar food also very good. I didn't get a chance to sample the restaurant. As I said, I used this hotel as my base for a weekend in Dublin. I availed of the complimentary shuttle bus to the Airport where there I was able to access many different buses into the city centre and I purchased a 3 day bus card which was very cost effective. I availed of the car park which I think is only €5 per day for hotel guests. A filling station and convenience store across the road. All in all a very pleasant stay and I will be returning

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Hotel. The check-in was quick and friendly and we found the room to be clean and very comfortable. We had no trouble getting the hotel transport to and from the airport. The very best thing about the hotel was that the breakfast was served until 11am which enabled us to have a good lie-in after sampling the vibrant Dublin night-life. It was great to be provided with extra good quality pillows. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We shall certainly be recommending this hotel to our friends and colleagues here in the Isle of Man.

Unable to read as there were no bedside lamps working and only one was working in centre of room. On inspection bulbs had been removed. Very noisy as there was a child's birthday party in building. Poor communication at reception desk. Only redeeming feature was the exceleent shuttle service to airport.

My daughter and I were very impressed with the conditions of the room and ensuite. The linen on the beds was crisp and refreshing. The staff in the hotel were most courteous and helpful at all times. The shuttle bus to the airport was punctual both going to and returning to the hotel. The breakfast was perfect and the waiting staff were courteous and sang in tune to the season... which was important given that it was Christmas! Signage for parking was not explicit enough for someone arriving, as we did, in the late night. Our only quibble was the fact that there was no lift to the ground floor where our bedroom was. We had one heavy case. But, I must admit that we were offered help but were so anxious to get to bed that any delay seemed out of the question. But I still give my experience top marks and a superb rating for service, food and proximity to to the airport. Excellent!

Had a nice stay in this hotel. Staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly. No lifts are a negative, the hotel is quite big and having to lug suitcases around the long corridors and up and down stairs is not really ideal, no offer was made to carry the luggage. Slightly disappointed with my vegetarian evening meal and feel more choice would be good, however can't fault breakfast it was lovely. Restaurant staff deserve a special mention because of their friendliness.

ON OUR LATE ARRIVAL [10.30 p.m.] AT DUBLIN AIRPORT WE USED THE COURTESY PHONE TO CALL THE CLARION AIRPORT HOTEL. WITHIN MINUTES A COURTESY COACH PICKED US UP AND IN NO TIME WE WERE DELIVERED TO THE HOTEL. CHECK-IN WAS QUICK AND EFFICIENT AND WE ENJOYED A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP IN A COMFORTABLE BED IN A SPACIOUS ROOM. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW QUIET IT WAS SO NEAR TO THE AIRPORT. NEXT MORNING WE ENJOYED AN EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, CHECKED OUT AND WERE ON OUR WAY BY TAXI TO CATCH OUR TRAIN HOME. The best part of staying at this hotel was the location. We had an early flight so it was very convenient. We got a very good price and now I know why. The room was not very nice. Old, things not in good shape (furniture), cracks in the bathroom sink, small and dingy. It may have been considered the first floor, but it seemed to be in the basement. No elevator to the floor. The only reason I may choose to stay there again is if I needed to get to the airport at the very early morning hours. I would not recommend the hotel otherwise.

Decided to drive the 120 miles to airport evening before and have relaxing night in hotel.Evening meal in restaurant nice but pricey. Room 114,HUMMING NOISE OUTSIDE WINDOW ALL NIGHT!Got 2 hours sleep at most,extremely frustrating. Breakfast very good. Main purpose for staying in hotel was to feel refreshed in morning before plane journey. Reception said it was 'probably the lift.'Sons stayed in room 225 and had no problems. Rate hotel awful as I didn't get a night's sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed there because our flight was early in the morning. It was our second time there. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bar is really modern, the staff is very nice and friendly, and there's a nice buz all around. The best of it all is the breakfast, absolutely delicious! The staff is also very very nice! We really enjoyed it and I'm sure we will be back soon!

The hotel is still being redeveloped. The reception and bar area have been renovated, but the hotel rooms - or at least the ones I have used are still from the eighties. That said, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was decently equipped. Breakfast was substantial and included in the cost, but I was charged an extra five euro for parking. It's an airport hotel - you're there because you are going somewhere else in a hurry, but for what it was it was satisfactory.

I find the hotel very good and convenient. The staff are very welcoming and efficient. I am a volunteer with a Charitable Organisation and have to travel quite often. Having the facility of being able to check in at any time is great. I also find the reasonable rates from Roomex super. The Charity are covering my expenses so it is great to be getting quality at a reasonable rate. If I was to say one negative it would be how early they finish serving hot food even as room srvice. 10.30 for those arriving from Airport can be a little early but overall very pleased.

We chose to stay here for our final night on an extended visit to the British Isles. The location on the airport with frequent free shuttle service to the terminals allowed us to rest for the final leg of our trip. The room was clean, well appointed, and quiet. The bed was the best we had slept in for our entire trip. Room service was quick and the food was outstanding and arrived at proper temperature--the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Highly recommended without reservation.

The facilities the Clarion Airport Hotel offers are superb. Clean with excellent bar and room service. The breakfast was first class and the shuttle bus to the airport takes only a few minutes and runs three or four times every hour. Any time we travel by air early in the morning we find the comfort and ease staying overnight at the Clarion takes the hassle out of traveling, well worth the money.

Unfortunately this hotel brought a bad end to a great holiday. We went to Prague for a few days and it was great but when we got to the Clarion at Dublin Airport, we found the complete opposite. The staff were not helpful, we had no lift to the 3rd floor, the room was not clean and it was quite noisy. The breakfast was plentiful but not what I expected from a 4 star hotel.

Stayed here for one night , before departing for a weekend away. Staff very friendly (in a professional manner of course). Room located on the ground floor, nice decor & the shower a delight for a good wake up. Breakfast a delight to get before travelling for hours, even more so when the Airport food isn't the best.
