Clarion Downtown Hotel Los Angeles

The room and the hotel in general was good and neat. The best part, it was centrally located, was pretty convenient to move around. There were a few things that came to my notice which the hotel management must work on:- 1. On their site they had mentioned that free parking. When we checked in, they said that the parking is full, and that we must look for it somewhere outside. It was a bit of a pain, since that was New Years eve, and the nearest parking that we got was 1/2 a mile away. The hotel mgmt must realize that when they mention things such as 'free parking' on internet, they must assume that they could be house full, because the customer would just assume that he will get the parking. Another couple of small things:- a. The phone in my room was not working. I think there must be basic prechecks before the room is assigned. b. Hot water stopped coming at 10:15 in the morning. But I think apart from the parking issue, this is a good hotel, and I would recommend to others too.
