We stayed for one night in the Clarion in Cork for New Year's Eve. We had hoped to upgrade our room to an executive but the night that was in it understandably the hotel was fully booked, still the staff tried their best and in the end they placed a few extras (fruit, robes, chocolates) in our room which was a lovely touch by the Duty Manager who went out of her way to make us feel welcome as do all the staff, always helpful and courtous. The hotel is clean bright and well kept, we had a lovely room overlooking the river Lee. The leisure centre is available for guests and it was a great way to start the day, lovely warm swim and relaxing in the jacuzzi. Breakfast is always something to look forward to, lots of choice cereals, pastries etc and very tasty. We also had lunch in Kudos bar after we checked out if you like thai or chinese this beats most restaurants for flavour. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone, we have stayed in the Clarion numberous times and look forward to booking through Roomex.com again. Great rates and great choice, thank you.
