Stayed with my daughter (12years) for 3 nights, purpose of the trip was leisure and shopping. We arrived late (23.30), and the check-in was very efficient, but a bit unpersonal. Large hotel, very long and dull corridors, but the room was very delicate and fresh with lovely soaps and stuff in the bathroom. The room was nicely cleaned every day. We enjoyed the pool, but wished that the swimming periods for older children were extended. Liked the Kudos bar, disliked the breakfast; little to choose from and overprized. We got lovely Irish breakfast for under half the prize at the bar across the street. The hotel is a short walk from a very good shopping center, with cinemas and cafees, which gave us plenty of things to do near the hotel. Easy access to Dublin centre using the nearby local bus.
On the plus side: nice rooms, good pool, hotel good situated for our purpose. Friendly and helpful "info/touristdesk".
Could be better: Breakfast and swimming periods for children. I e-mailed in advance to ask if we could get a quiet room away from the motorway, and how to get to the hotel from the airport. The answer confirmed the quiet room, and recommended a taxi to the hotel.- We got a room facing the motorway, and found out after arriving that an airport bus runs close by.
