In the 70s the hotel was known as the Andora Hotel but changed names to become the Brownstone Hotel in the 80s, finally becoming the Comfort Hotel in the 90s. The hotel has a total of 108 clean and spacious rooms and a friendly staff who will ensure that guests enjoy all the comforts of a home away from home. Rooms were renovated in 2007 and have brand new linen. Guests are welcomed into the hotel lobby, which features a 24-hour reception and check-out service. A laundry service is provided and further hotel facilities include WLAN Internet access, a bar and a restaurant as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. How To Get There
From Highway 401: Exit Don Valley Parkway South. Follow until reaching Bloor Street exit. Drive until reaching the intersection of Bloor Street and Church Street. Turn left on Church Street. Charles Street is the second intersection on Church Street - turn right (Charles Street is a one-way street). The hotel is on the left-hand side before the intersection of Charles Street and Yonge Street. From Gardiner Expressway: Exit Jarvis Street north. About 10 blocks north is the intersection of Jarvis Street and Charles Street. Make a left on Charles Street. The hotel is on the left-hand side before the intersection of Charles Street and Yonge Street.
