The Rooms were very small and Basic and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, however, being woken up first thing in the morning by construction workers drilling outside the bedroom door was infuriating and we should have not been given such a room. Overall an ok experience.

Okay, so this hotel couldn't be classed as luxury status but then it doesn't need to be. A good, very clean, basic hotel base from which to explore Barcelona: extremely conveniently situated for all the city's sights in a nice part of town. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel which seems to be generally being upgraded gradually: our room perhaps still requiring some work (love that woodchip paper)! But fresh towels daily, clean floors and bathrooms are welcomed. For the price, I expected the breakfast to be limited, but fresh juice, coffee, bakery, yoghurts, apples and meat, cheese and eggs was an ample start to the day and well-presented and fresh. Some reviews mention the noise levels: we found the noise was mostly street noise: cars, sirens etc rather than from other rooms but it may depend where your room is situated. I can recommend silicon ear plugs for a great nights sleep! Thoroughly reccommend this hotel if your main need is to be central (5 mins walk from airport bus stop and Placa Catalunya etc)and within easy reach of the Ramblas. Bonus was not having to pay for the safe key even a deposit. Great value all round

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children for a 2 nite stay. We had 4 single beds? When checking in workmen with hammer drills and dust all over the place so not a great first impression. Room overlooked the main plaza and was quite noisy 24hrs a day. Clean rooms which was the major plus
