Super hotel. Everything was first class. Staff very helpful. Stayed in executive room which gives access to executive lounge free snacks, certain drinks all day. Did not use the spa or the pool but comments from other guests were very favourable. Only minor niggle there were only 4 english speaking channels on tv and 3 of them were news channels...but you dont go to Budapest to watch tv.

My wife and I have just returned from one of the most relaxing holidays thanks to the efficiency, friendliness and courtesy of the management and staff of the Corinthia Grand Royal Palace Hotel. Room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Meals were exellent. Concierge top class Front desk staff friendly Assistant managers and waiters exemplary (one compulsory 'character') Leisure facilities - pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc. were exceptional, very well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. During our stay we visited another 5 star hotel in the city, more modern,with glitz and glass and stainless steel, but frostily efficient by comparison. If you want sterility masquerading as service and haughtiness as competence, that would be the one for you. If, however, you want a pleasant hotel that preserves the standards of the past and the comforts of the present, then the Corinthia is for you.

Very nice hotel. Staff very helpful. Great selection at buffet breakfast and some lovely restaurants within the hotel. Would definitely stay here again

I really enjoyed my stay. I was in Budapest for a long weekend with friends. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were excellent and very helpful. I would highly recommended this hotel, it was an excellent deal

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very efficient, friendly and accomodating, the level of cleanliness superb, and the pool spa was gorgeous. The breakfast was also exemplary. One of the best places I've ever stayed in.

I found the hotel and its staff of the best quality. The conseirge was very helpful and the facilities (nightclub, bar, spa) were of the highest standard. The only issue I had which left a very bad taste in my mouth was the price of the hotel taxi from the hotel to the airport. We had built up a trusting relationship with the hotel staff over the course of the weekend and as a result didn't ask how much to expect the taxi fare to come to. When we got to the airport the taxi driver asked us for 6,600 fornit. Our trip from the airport to the hotel cost a megre 3,000 fornit. I think that was extremely expensive and should be addressed by the hotel. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
