Corner House Hotel London
Hotel Description
The rooms are all of medium size and brightly decorated with cream walls, warm coloured fabrics, oil paintings, wooden furniture and new, solid oak wooden floors. All rooms are equipped with plasma televisions, hair dryer, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
The small bathrooms are all tiled up to the ceiling and have been equipped with bath tubs and showers. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition, having been completely rebuilt and renovated in March 2008. The breakfast room is a modern space located on the ground floor, adjacent to the reception and lobby area and dominated by huge windows from which light floods in during the day. This is a detached four storey building with its own front garden. An attractive staircase and porch lead to the entrance of the hotel. A very attractive building, with a white and cream stucco facade that certainly stands out. The lobby is small but very functional and attractive. The small reception desk is located on the left, next to the entrance, but there is an adjacent seating area with comfortable leather sofas, glass chandeliers and a huge plasma/flat screen television. This brand new hotel is a great product, located very close to the centre of London with quick access to Regents Park, Camden Town and all other London attractions, offering good standard accommodation at an affordable budget. Fantastic value for money accommodation, perfect for the leisure and business traveller alike. The entire building was refurbished in March 2008, hence all facilities are in excellent condition. The hotel was very clean and easy to find on Camden Road, however the staff were not that friendly and it was very noisey in the morning with lots of doors slamming. Our bathroom was very small but for the price of the room it was fine. Nice comfortabe bed though.

- travel to hotel at nighttime not very safe
- very noisy and too warm - therefore window needs to be left open which makes it even noisier
- bathroom smells unpleasant
- breakfast is not breakfast. Better of spending a couple of euro down the road.
- bed was ok
- place was clean
price paid was low, however prefer to spend a couple of euro to gain convenience of connections to city and tube stations and get a less noisy room. On the positive side, the room and bed was clean.

If you are looking for a budget hotel not too far from town the Corner house is fine. The rooms are small but clean. Bed was comfortable etc. Basic breakfast. Good if your just passing through, the hotel has no atmosphere(no bar) and is very impersonal, staff are friendly and polite. As it is on Camden road it is really noisy at night...police sirens constantly and traffic noise take a sleeping tablet if you want a snooze! Over all good value for money...one last thing it is a good 15 mins by cab from Kings Cross and a good 15 min walk to the nearest tube but on the bright side there are buses every few mins just 2 mins down the road.
