The location of this hotel was spot on, less than 10 minutes from the train station and also less than 10 minutes to the old town. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean and modern. The room was the same and also a good size. The hotel is on a busy street but we didn't hear a thing. My only issue with this hotel was the free wifi advertised which is a must have for me, only to realize that you had one hour free every 24 hours, also you could only log on once in that 24 hours. If this is not an issue for you then I would highly recommend this hotel.
Munich was up to its ankles in snow when arrived at the Courtyard by Marriott. We found a warm welcome from friendly staff who were helpful throughout our stay, and a lovely spacious comfortable room. The rooms may be soundproofed, we never heard a sound. The variety and quality of breakfast was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel on 2 occasions, the food was delicious and there was something for every taste. The hotel is about 10 mins walk from the main train station, and about 20 mins walk to Marienplatz - or hours if you stop at some of the huge department stores! We'd happily stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and efficient, our room clean and spacious. Breakfast next morning was well organised with plenty on offer. The location is perfect: less than 5 minutes to the main station and 10 minutes to the city centre. We will definitely come back.
