Customer Reviews for Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel
Our Customer stayed here in April 2012
We were in Manchester for a short break and stayed at the Crowne Plaza for the first time. We had a free shuttle service from Manchester Airport for the short trip to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the fourth floor and was very clean with tea or coffee available if required. The bathroom was well stocked also. We enjoyed a very substantial breakfast the following morning which set us up for the busy day ahead. Reception organised a call to our car hire firm and they collected us from the hotel. Would stay again if the chance arises and would recommmend.

Our first contact with a member of the Crowne Plaza staff was excellent - we had been instructed to call reception from the arrivals hall in Terminal 1 and within 3 minutes, a courtesy bus had arrived to bring us to the hotel. Unfortunately upon arrival at the hotel, the gentleman on reception appeared to be far more interested in his paperwork than in us, and failed to make eye contact once. He spoke to us while looking at downwards at the desk which was extremely disconcerting and we seemed to be nothing short of an inconvenience to him.
Our room was clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. Two bottles of complimentary water were most welcome and while provision of bottled water should be standard in all hotels, it very often is not. (One small gripe is that it was impossible to open the mini-bar - some sort of adult-proof automatic locking system in place!!). It was almost 11pm when we got to the lounge area (hungry and seeking food) but a most helpful gentleman told us food would be no trouble at all, despite the late hour. We were served promptly and the meal was very good.
The bar shut before midnight but we were not harrassed to finish our bottle of wine and move out of the lounge, which was appreciated. Noise from the early morning aircraft did wake us at about 6am but that is only to be expected in an airport hotel.
Overall, a very good experience.

Customer Service excellent. The staff at reception were friendly. The room was just superb comfortable. A little misshap when the emergency alarms went off at 1.00am. What a fashion parade that was in the front lobby!!!!! However it wasn't long before we were back in our rooms and safe.
