Refurbishment of this hotel will start on the 29th April 2013.

During this time the exterior of the hotel be clad in scaffolding that will cover the front of the building for public safety. The outer face of the of the scaffolding will be netted, which may affect levels of light in the guests bedrooms. At this stage no internal services will be affected and the staff and management of the hotel will ensure that everything will be done to minimise disruption. They will also renovate all public areas. The hotel will close mid July to complete all further refurbishment.



Built in 2004, this hotel offers a total of 200 rooms spread over 7 floors of which 50 are single rooms and 150 are double rooms. Various facilities are available to guests including a stylish lobby with lift access, a safe, a cloakroom and a 24-hour reception desk. In addition, conference rooms, a café and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants are all facilities available within the hotel complex. Further amenities on offer to hotel guests include a public Internet terminal, room and laundry services and a car park.

Location

This modern luxury hotel is situated close to the city centre, within a few minutes' walk of Liverpool Street and its train station. Restaurants and links to the public transport network are to be found within 300 m of the hotel.

How To Get There

From Liverpool Street Station, exit onto Bishopsgate turning left, continue along Bishopsgate and after 5 minutes this becomes Shoreditch High Street. The Crowne Plaza can be seen on the right, halfway down the High Street.

Room Description

The comfortable rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access and a minibar. Furthermore, they come fitted with a double bed, tiling, carpeting, air conditioning/central heating, a safe and a separate lounge area.

Meals

Breakfast is available to guests each morning. A buffet is available at breakfast, at lunch and in the evening. At midday and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from the menu, or take the à la carte option. Special dietary requirements may be provided for, including individual-specific meals.

Sports/Entertainment

Guests have the opportunity to make use of an in-house gym.

Remarks

On arrival the hotel requires guests to pre-authorise an amount of 100 pounds on a credit card. This amount is not deducted from the guest's credit card but serves to cover any additional charges that might be incurred during the stay.
