The Hotel Location is good although no view can be seen.
The reception hall is well designed. Rooms are so small; The AC does not heat and the windows looks so poor. The Breakfast meal found very poor and the service found the same.

Brought my wife to London for 30th and so glad we chose Crowne Plaza hotel as it was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed such as directions, advice etc. No need to help us with anything in the hotel as everything was excellent already! We did upgrade our room to deluxe as I wanted it be extra special. It was so close to Buckingham Palace and everything else for that matter. We walked to Buckingham Palace in 2 mins. We also walked from Victoria Train Station as this was only 5-7 mins away. We will definetly return to London as we didnt get to see everything during our 3 day visit; and we will without doubt stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on St James again. Thank you.

From the moment we entered this hotel till the time we left we were cordially received. Reception staff could not do enough for us, we arrived early, there was no trouble about getting to our room. When we asked to be changed to the rear of the hotel, building work going on in front and very noisy, the receptionist immediately worked on changing us and succeeded. Our room was superb, fresh water, chocolates, biscuits. Our bed was comfortable, room spotless, and perfect air-condition. Would highly recommend this hotel, its proximity to Central London would be one of the reasons. The breakfast was terrific, and here again the staff excellent. Well don Crown Plaza!

Our Customer stayed here in February 2010
We recently stayed in the Crowne Plaza St James and I couldn't fault this hotel. Some of the online reviews I read before our visit were misleading. It has a traditional old world charm and I find it difficult to understand how some described it as run down or dated. The rooms were perfectly well equipped, tastefully decorated, spacious by London standards, lovely breakfast and the staff were efficient and pleasant. The location is also really convenient for Victoria coach and Train Station, a short walk to shops, restaurants and many of the main tourist attractions. My only complaint might be that the Bath robe was well worn with a torn pocket and ready to be thrown out but this isn't something that should put anyone off staying at the Crowne Plaza. I hope to stay here again very soon and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

On the whole the stay here was fine however we had a difficult experience with the check-in staff which we reported to management. The room was small but adequate. There was a good selection for breakfast and brunch however service was poor with regards to coffee/tea, toast etc.
