For the money the Towers are good value, however you are just getting the basics so be prepared to pay extra for parking, wifi, etc. Hotel is a bit tired but rooms are nice and spacious with big double bed, arm chairs, desk, walk in wardrobe. It's location is excellent for me with a handy bus going to the Point/O2 from right outside the door. I had an issue at check in where despite booking the Towers I was given a room in the Inn, less expensive adjoining hotel with smaller rooms. There was no mention of switching me to the Inns and refunding me the difference. I only found out when I got to the Towers and discovered my room number didn't exist there. On returning to reception I was told the Towers was closed and that they would have to call the duty manager. A very abrupt duty manager offered me a room in Towers but offered no apology. My own feelings were that this might have been a bit underhanded and if I hand not stayed in the Towers a number of times before I might have been none the wiser. Strangely enough despite being told that the Towers were closed I passed a number of guests on the floors that night and the following morning. Breakefast was served in the Dubliner pub. Fairly average buffet breakfast. No black or white pudding which is standard in Ireland. Had to go and stand at kitchen door to try and get some coffee. Plenty of orange and apple juice. Fruit bowl was empty bar two bananas at 8.45am Check out was very quick and well organized with plenty of staff.

Was upgraded to D4 Berkeley. Room was on 7th floor = very low water pressure, shower a mere dribble and bath took 25 mins to incompletely fill. Radiator made too much noise from early in the morning, very disturbful of sleep. Bathroom fittings at end of their life, in poor condition, and bathroom stank of mould from the shower curtain I think. Room bit on the small side. Nice lobby and bar, staff very friendly and helpful, handy location for O2. Breakfast good.

Nice hotel, nice location, breakfast could have been better. Bacon was streaky with very little meat on it, I avoided this, the sausages were a bit on the undercooked side. Would still stay there again, good value overall.

We didn't actually have the opportunity to stay in the Ballsbridge Towers. On arrival,we were informed that we had been upgraded to their sister hotel the Berkeley, which is just next door so the review is for that hotel. However I can't thank the reception staff in the Ballsbridge Towers for all their help and we had a brilliant stay in the Berkeley. Room was very spacious and the breakfast was fab. Thanks Roomex for getting us such a great bargain.

Hotel was very central for where i was going. Room was very spacious and comfortable with superking size bed. Some mould around the windows and draughty old style windows not good in irish winters. It was great value for money and the breakfast was very good, and all staff were very helpful. I would def recommend this hotel.

This was my first time staying at the D4 Ballsbridge Towers Hotel and I knew that I was going to be sad that the Jurys Towers is gone. However, the bedroom was very spacious, the breakfast was good and all the services at Reception were excellent. I will use this hotel again.

We were down to see a Bon Jovi concert. The hotel is great and close to the RDS + Lansdowne sites. The only gripe? All the guests were fellow fans so the bar was packed and served drinks in plastic glasses, strange I feel for a premier hotel.

Great location - once I found it using my 'misguided' sat-nav that first sent me to the wrong place!!! Welcoming staff and very clean room - great size for 3 of us. Had to change the booking on our arrival from 2 to 3 - but it was no problem and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast great, beds comfortable - would definately stay there again and recommend to a friend.

3 person room with only 2 cups, 3 person room with only 3 bath towels, 5 night stay 4 requests to fix issues with cups and towels no fix. Door handel broke in main hall, water leak and stains in main lobby, chair leg broke in bar. Bar personel not aprochable and cold. This facility has not earned the stars that is displaying.

Breakfast was served till 11 the next morning which we thought was great and it was very nice, plenty of everything. All in all we had a great time and will def be returning.

D4 Towers offers 4 star luxury at 2 star prices. Well furnished very large rooms with walk-in wardrobe - heated towels, coffee / tea making facilities and in a quiet wing of the hotel. The Ballsbridge area is superb and close to the Aviva Stadium and RDS. Bus and train services are adjacent and the hotel offers excellent bar bood, in-house shop and take away services. Overall I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic value for money! This hotel is in a great position, a short walk from some great pubs and restaurants in Baggot Street. 66 Euros for a deluxe double room which was extremely spacious, spotless and comfortable. Because of a medical condition I need to sleep in an elevated position and requested extra pillows. These were delivered promptly to the room. The bathroom was also spacious and spotless. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

The room at Ballsbridge Towers was very spacious and had a walk-in wardrobe, beautiful bathroom with lots of clean towels on heated rail, king size bed, tasteful furnishings, tv, tea/coffee making facilities and armchairs. The hotel is located in an excellent location, close to the Aviva Stadium, RDS - 5 minutes walk to the DART and with lots of buses outside. We ate at the bar where we enjoyed lovely steaks for a very reasonable price and then went for a leisurely walk in the lovely Ballsbridge area. Overall an excellent hotel with great reception and waiting staff and for such a low price. How could you go wrong in recessionary times?

We had an excellent stay at tha Ballsbridge Towers. Check in was very efficient and Ryan at the desk was very helpful - even though we arrived hours before check-in time. He managed to find us a room that allowed us to leave our belongings get changed and go out again. The room was big and airy and most importantly clean and spotless. Everything was fine - not luxurious but everything we needed was there and it was great to relax in after a busy day - armchairs and TV and a really comfy bed. We requested more pillows and they arrived in about 10 mins! There are also lots of little places to sit and relax as well as the main hotel lobby. Breakfast was wonderful. We went early so it was very quiet and relaxing. Hot food was hot - and we noticed the chef checked the temperature of the food regulary - always a good sign. So full Irish breakfast, cereals, croissants and a great selection of fresh fruit. You really couldn't ask for more. Staff were attentive and efficient. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and when we return to Dublin i would have no hesitation in staying here again. It is excellent value for money.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were just there for one night and everything was up to standard, staff were friendly and the room was very nice, spacious and really clean. The only thing I can fault about the hotel was the €10.50 parking fee which we found out about upon arrival, this should be advertised better as it could prevent people staying at the hotel.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Slight delays at check in and check out but staff apologised about it which is a nice touch. Had a delicious turkey and ham special dinner served by a very friendly waiter. One slight hesitation, the baggage store room was not locked and I would have preferred to get a ticket when leaving bag in for a few hours.Great location and price and I will definitely stay there again. We had our Christmas party on Friday 3rd December 2010, as the weather was so bad we decided to book rooms for our staff at the D4 Towers, I was first to arrive and I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. On arriving at my room I soon discovered the heating was not working, I called Reception and they sent someone to fix it within minutes. I was very impressed overall including the much needed cooked breakfast we had on Saturday. We will be using the hotel again and booking through Roomex made it even easier.

Location excellent, Room very clean, comfortable. Disappointed that having made a request was unable to procure 2 satchets of coffee to make a cup in room. Link door outside bedroom was noisily opened and banged during the night, I presume by security staff as guests would not be accessing the area where room was.

The dissatisfaction started with the receptionist who had only rehearsed english. When we asked her if there was a leisure centre in the Hotel, she directed us to the Aviva Stadium ! tHE ROOM WAS FINE ALBEIT THAT THERE COULD BE BETTER SIGNAGE TO HELP YOU FIND IT.wATER WAS WARM AND ROOM CLEAN. WE were given a ticket for parking which we pre paid but this did not work to allow us exit next morning. We had to return to reception and get another ticket .No apology or explanation offered ,just gruffly told "try this one " and handed another ticket. Finally, I note that the residents bar was closed while the bar staff regularly came into the bar to serve customers at some other location/function and were down right rude to guests who asked where the residents bar was. Overall, accomodation/housekeeping fine but the service is a sad reflection on what was once one of Ireland's finest hotel. Facility 6 out of 10. Service/hospitality/friendliness 0 out of 10.

Very good value. €69.00 for a double room B and B on a Friday night plus €10.50 for parking overnight.Rooms clean, warm and soundproof.Colour scheme dated. Had lots of people in around 7.30pm for bar food.Portions seemed huge! Cafe that stayed open til 5.30am!Live music in the bar but no one there but ourselves around midnight. No athmosphere. Breakfast consisted of cereal, toast ,juices , fry up etc.Only thing lacking was the brown soda! Staff all very courteous and helpful. Hotel situated in/a couple of minutes walk from Ballsbridge and about 20mins from town. At this price we would definitely stay again.

Stayed at hotel for Michael Buble concert, we queued for 45 mins to check in, hotel was hectic but that was to be expected as its proximity is close to the concert venue. Had to park at Hume House few hundred metres up the road. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was basic, again we had to queue for that. Staff were friendly and apologies for the delays, however it was obvious to see that they couldn't deal with the number of people staying in the hotel. Hotel would have known that hotel was going to be busy so should have planned accordingly. All in all, stay was satisfactory.

The hotel room was fine, clean and comfortable--although the hair dryewr was broken. However when I booked in at reception (i had booked for B & B) the guy at reception; (a) failed to record that I had prepaid for breakfast --until I noticed and corrected him (b) failed to give me proper directions on how to get to my room (needed to go to a different section of the hotel to get the lift for my "Towers2 room); and (c)when I came back to reception to complain, he saw me but ignored me. Not great customer service!

New to this website, a friend suggested it, gave it a go and was delighted with the prices offered. Was quite happy with the hotel, very convienent for the purpose of the trip. Wasn't too delighted with the receptionist that checked us in, didnt sell the hotel very well, just asked had we stayed before and as our reply was no, this didnt give her the idea to let us know of the meal times, entertainment or onsite facilities, which there was alot of, shame.. but we managed to stumble across the bar who served food until 10pm and delightful onsite supermarket and hair dressers... Also for a four star hotel, there was no coffee in the room or brouchure folder and the room really lingered of cigarettes. Overall quite good, would stay again. Brilliant price for the night.

I would have given a rating of 4 Very Good only I was very disappointed in the breakfast. It was chaotic. There didn't appear to be any system worked out. Tables were left uncleared, trying to get a coffee was a chore. The staff were rushed off their feet - obviously there wasn't enough of them. The food was only ok. While I was waiting to pay for breakfast, the person in front of me complained to the Manager on duty about the food the night before, she was ill all night apparently. The response she got was very unsatisfactory, she should at least have been directed to a complaints procedure and not just 'I'll tell the chef'. However the room was very comfortable and good value for money, especially as there was ample parking at the hotel. I would stay there again, though would probably eat elsewhere.

The Towers has the history of a lovely hotel that is in steady decline. The rooms were spacious but many of the fittings no longer worked properly. Bulbs were especially scarce throughout the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and the bar was fine, if a long way from the towers. The D4 deli, Cafe D4 and Deli D4 are really good ideas badly executed in a cheap and tacky facade. Overall it is very reasonably priced which softens the edges of the issues ... a little.

The stay was fine - the hotel was fine and very good value. It reminded me of a BA or Quatar airways Jumbo Jet which was manned by Ryanair staff - Nice hotel, nice place, good location, ryanair feel to the whole thing. Could not contact hotel by phone after I left an item behind - tried over and over and over again but no-one answered the phone when it wasn't busy.... That is why it gets a below average rating - just feel like there is no interest in who is staying there - purely functional but quite good at being purely functional......

We were pleased with the room it was comfortable and warm and after a disappointing night at the show we were delighted to be able to stay in the hotel for supper eventhough it was around 9 oclock and the food and atmosphere were very enjoyable but my favourite was a lovely breckfast and a good pot of tea being served to us very efficently in the morning before our departure.

Because of illness it has been some time since I visited Dublin. I was apprehensive and tired on arrival after a long train journey. My wife had prebooked our stay to avoid hassle on arrival. The Reception staff were friendly, and before you could say "I'm tired" we were on our way to our room. The room was pleasant and restful and the beds were comfortable.Staff were friendly in the bar where we had a restorative snack before going on to our appointment. We had a peaceful nights rest later with no undue noise on our floor. Our 7.30 call came through at 7.50. Breakfast was good and served in a business-like way in a pleasant atmosphere. The offer of a newspaper was appreciated. Check-out was easy and painless and we were on our way once more.If I have to return to Dublin again I will be back to your hotel, arriving in a less apprehensive mood!

Hi we were a bit dispointed with our stay in D4 The Towers Hotel, on approching the hotel its beautiful nicely lit up then you enter and the first thing you notice is the barriers for parking!!! A night stay cost you the resident €7.50 a night.. On entering the hotel the lobby is nice and the staff are friendly we opted for the smoking room which was a big mistake as the room smelled auful apart from the disapointment of this for a 4 star hotel I couldnt believe that there was no iron or ironing board no Tea or coffee making facilicites which you would expect in a B&B let alone a 4 Star hotel the hair dryer wasnt a proper one it was like a vacum with a hose that was almost torn apart the room in general wasnt nice, and the clearner entered our room twice in one morning without knocking. To my surprize there is no restraunte in the hotel at all apart from the bar that does bar food which we eat in and in fairness was lovely they advice you to go to the Bearkley court if you wish to dine in a restraunt which we did on our second nite however the prices are very expensive with one steak costing around €75 and the cheapest is €25. I wont be staying in this hotel again.
