Hotel Description
Delightfully Parisian, the hotel has the elegance of inherited style and the punch of ultra-modern fittings; the simple stone corridors and cherry-red, brass-knobbed doors are beautifully floor lit. Guests feel welcomed into a private house where gilt-edged old paintings dominate the gracious salon with its buffed grand piano (the owner sings on Tuesday nights). The design is wondrous and enchanting. The charm of this mansion is in the decoration of the rooms, each being unique. The air-conditioned hotel was built in 1927 and offers 38 guest rooms. There is a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access and a café. Guests may also take advantage of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and the bicycle hire service on offer.

L'espace Champerret (a fair centre) is also very close. The hotel is located right at Gare du Nord train station and the bus station is around 100 m away. Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports are located some 30 km from the hotel, while Paris Beauvais Tillé Airport is around 75 km away.

Customer Reviews for De Banville Hotel Paris
Our Customer stayed here in March 2008
Service was excellent and every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Go with their recommendations for restaurants, they know of some real gems. The location is a bit far from the tourist attractions, but there is a metro station round the corner. The room we stayed in (Prelude)was of a comfortable size, had a nice bed and the decor was quite striking, but the storage space in the wardrobe was limited, there was no stand-on shower and there was no shower curtain in the bath, all of which made it a bit inconvenient, given the price we were paying. The breakfast was excellent and was till 11 am in the morning, which was very convenient. Overall, a very good 3 star hotel, but wouldn't consider it 4 star.
