The stay was pretty good. The dinner was superb as were the staff. Not quite the 5 star experience we were expecting however. The breakfast was only passable the hotel itself is in need of a facelift especially around the rooms. On the whole a nice stay.
Stayed here for one night. Beautiful accommodation. Used the gym and the pool. Great facilities. Staff lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was very nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were there for a party nearby, so we stayed just for 1 night. The whole hotel is explendid and grand, but despite this the staff is very friendly and make you feel like a very valued customer from the start. Our room was very big and beautifully set, with robes, slippers, an iron and complimentary magazines. The only thing missing was a kettle for a nice cup of tea... A very relaxing and enjoyable stay, you get all the luxury you'd expect! I will definitely consider coming back, maybe to celebrate a special occasion...
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and the staff was so accommodating. We chose the standard room and it was still beyond spacious. The estate itself was picture perfect and the convenience of being located so close to the Powerscourt Gardens was a plus as well. We ate at The Sugar Loaf for both lunch and dinner and both meals (as well as drinks) were simply delicious. The hotel made our trip, and I would advise anyone staying in Wicklow to stay at Powerscourt.

Very nice hotel! Me and few girlfriends stayed in the Glenview hotel for a spa night and loved it. The rooms were nice and spacious and the view from our window was amazing. Dinner was included in our package and we were really impressed with the look of the dining room and the variety of food. Our meals were great and portion sizes were perfect! It was nice to leave dinner not overly full. Spa was great although we did not understand why the leisure center and the spa rooms were so far apart. When leaving the hotel our spa treatments were not itemised on the bill which was very annoying! It would have been nice if each treatment was noted separately so each girl could pay for her indvidual treatment. It took the spa ages to bring down a brochure so we could sort out the bill ourselves. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely come again.

Enjoyed our few days and will go back again for a longer stay. Staff excellent - Bedroom excellent - Food (expensive) excellent - Bathroom getting close to upgrade time.
With reference to my stay in The Glendalough Hotel. I found the food to be very good, totally satisfied with this area. I found the rooms to be old fashioned and in need of modernisation. The furniture was dated, the tv was at least 10 years old and lacking in stations. The wifi service was bad and my relations actually had no signal at any time, I had sometimes. The room cleaning service was average. It seems to me that the hotel knows they're situated in a very tourist orientated area and dont feel that they have to compete for business so do not provide a modern service.
Rooms were clean with great views. Friendly staff and good food.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was there for a wedding with my boyfriend. I thought the room was a little strange in it's layout. I think that it may have been made smaller to accommodate an en suite for the room next door and I could hear the guests next door using their ensuite. The en suite it self was clean but a little dated with exposed pipes under the hand basin. Staff were friendly enough but thought one lady (appeared to be a manager) could have been a little friendlier. She looked rather depressed and although it didn't interfere or ruin my stay it has remained a lasting memory for me of the hotel.
Where as the hotel was adequete. Parking was at the back with no access. Food finished at 20.30. After that time I could not get a sandwitch.
Hi our stay at the royal in Bray was not very enjoyable. The rooms were very small, the beds were uncomfotable and the lock on our window was broken and right outside the window we had a flat roof so needless to say we were nervous leaving stuff in the room when we went out that evening. The corridors in the hotel were a bit shabby too. the hotel was dissapointing. Also where the room was located in the hotel it was about a mile walk and you would easily get lost finding your room.
I had a very nice stay at this hotel recently. The Staff were very friendly and helpful in any request I had. The hotel was very central to the amenties that Bray had to offer and also the public transport network allowed the opportunity to explore Dublin if you so wished. The only downside was the charge for parking but the town of Bray offers plenty of parking otherwise so this should not put you off staying here.
Beautiful country house with lovely antique furniture. Lacks that "soulless" feel that most hotels have. The food in the restaurant was delicious but a bit over priced. All the staff were very friendly. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
