My room was not very clean - the bed & matress badly stained.
This hotel suits our needs every time. The last time our room was not very comfortable; it had only twin beds (we are a married couple) and the bathtub leaked, but since we really only stayed there for about 5 hours to sleep before a long drive after a flight, it was not overly inconvenient. The hotel is a bit like a labyrinth; make sure you don't need to go back to your car once you've found your room! And the wireless only works in the lobby (as of late 2010). However, the convenience of parking and sleeping right on the hotel grounds before/after a flight will keep us coming back again and again.
Nice and clean and friendly , I will be back .
Great location for heading to the O2. Stayed for one night and it was great, rooms a little dated and bathrooms could do with being done, but for us it was used for getting ready for a concert and sleeping and we were happy with it.
The level of service was v.good and I would reccomend a stay to anyone, friendly helpful staff,I felt taken care of in your hotel, friendly staff, the meal was excellent
very clean and easy going staff
loved THE HOTEL, THE STAFF, AND ALL THE GOOD SERVICES THANK YOU
The Burlington is a great hotel in a great location. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and spotlessly clean. My only complaint was the temperature in the rooms. I didn't sleep well because of the heat..
Friendly, helpful staff from check-in to check out. Got a sumptuous, large room and this more than compensated for it being on ground floor; I usually prefer to be at least one floor up! Only one fault when the fuse board tripped and knocked off the t.v and all accessible sockets. I had to wait until the following day for problem to be sorted. However, I discovered the cause as the same thing happened again when I used the kettle! Overall, a well heated hotel with great foyer space and on-site hair and beauty salon... what more could one want? I'll be back!
would not be going back here again. room on bottom floor and a long walk to it. Could'nt fault the decor of the hotel and it was very clean and beautiful furniture. Breakfast very disappointing as we like a cooked breakfast and it was awful, funny taste as if it was a cheap oil it was cooked in. Poached eggs tasted of nothing only vinegar, orange juice on one of the mornings definitely had water in it i gave it to the waiter and he said it was gone off, but did'nt ask if i wanted a replacement which i would'nt anyway.Staff very friendly especially bar staff and housekeeping staff. Seems to be an events hotel not for a relaxing break. The fact that you had to go outside to get to leisure center and spa in cold weather would'nt encourage one to use it too often.
great location for o2, friendly staff, will be back again
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Being so close to the O2 is brilliant. Only observation is that the menu in the restaurant seemed to be a special concert menu and not the one advertised on the website, a bit disappointing. Overall we had a brilliant time.
We got the bus to the airport and got the curtesy bus from there to Bewleys (no waiting time). Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the hotel. A good but short night's sleep and the curtesy bus dropped us at terminal one at 4am. No fuss or bother, a lovely relaxing start to our holiday. The room was very reasonably priced.
We arrived at 4am, feeling very tiers, because of a long delay in our flight. The driver of the courtesy bus and check in staff were very pleasant and helpful.
For the money the Towers are good value, however you are just getting the basics so be prepared to pay extra for parking, wifi, etc. Hotel is a bit tired but rooms are nice and spacious with big double bed, arm chairs, desk, walk in wardrobe. It's location is excellent for me with a handy bus going to the Point/O2 from right outside the door. I had an issue at check in where despite booking the Towers I was given a room in the Inn, less expensive adjoining hotel with smaller rooms. There was no mention of switching me to the Inns and refunding me the difference. I only found out when I got to the Towers and discovered my room number didn't exist there. On returning to reception I was told the Towers was closed and that they would have to call the duty manager. A very abrupt duty manager offered me a room in Towers but offered no apology. My own feelings were that this might have been a bit underhanded and if I hand not stayed in the Towers a number of times before I might have been none the wiser. Strangely enough despite being told that the Towers were closed I passed a number of guests on the floors that night and the following morning. Breakefast was served in the Dubliner pub. Fairly average buffet breakfast. No black or white pudding which is standard in Ireland. Had to go and stand at kitchen door to try and get some coffee. Plenty of orange and apple juice. Fruit bowl was empty bar two bananas at 8.45am Check out was very quick and well organized with plenty of staff.
Was upgraded to D4 Berkeley. Room was on 7th floor = very low water pressure, shower a mere dribble and bath took 25 mins to incompletely fill. Radiator made too much noise from early in the morning, very disturbful of sleep. Bathroom fittings at end of their life, in poor condition, and bathroom stank of mould from the shower curtain I think. Room bit on the small side. Nice lobby and bar, staff very friendly and helpful, handy location for O2. Breakfast good.
we stayed at the regency hotel with roomex hotels dirty dancing package deal. we were met by lovely friendly staff and the rooms were lovely and clean. altough i worried the hotel was out of town a little it was not a problem as the package included a bus in and out to the teatre, all in all well done on organising a great night out for us roomex, and well done to the lovely staff in the regency, especielly the waitresses.
I arrived at this hotel at an unfortunate time as there was a problem with the water supply and the bar and restaurant had to be closed. In fairness, I was informed of this at the desk as I checked in but as I had prepaid Roomex and it was late in the evening, it was not possible for me to relocate. The room was entirely satisfactory but the ambience of hotel was gloomy and it was very quiet. Staff, as always, were friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel & breakfast package for the money
Overall very helpful and friendly staff, especially the Receptionist in the Little Gym, very good. Food good and price reasonable.
