The room was compact but adequate. The bathroom although small was of a pretty good standard and clean and we got all sorts of complimentary shampoos/soap etc. There was also a hairdryer in the room and quite clean modern furniture. The second bed was a fold up one and was right next to the first. This was also the same set up in the second room we had booked - This was a shame as it lowered the standard we felt the room could have reached. The reception area could have looked much sleeker as it was very untidy and again lowered the standard that it could easily reach with a good tidy. The lift was hilarious as it only held 2 comfortable and three maximum. You could have four people in it but you would have to stand in line - great fun!! Breakfast was relativly good value although if busy may take time to come.
This hotel was well placed to get around London, however it was very basic. Our room was very small with damp on the walls. Unfortunately they were fully booked so we couldn't move. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I've no doubt that they would have moved us to a better room if one was available. All in all it served our purpose adequately for 1 night but for a longer stay, I wouldn't choose it again.
