Great location, easy to find, very friendly staff. I would highly recommend to everyone
Having not stayed here for nearly ten years, it was very pleasing to see the considerable improvements. The check-in team were very courteous and helpful and the room was well up to Sheraton standards. The only negative was a very unpleasant looking (large) stain on the carpet. The buffet breakfast offered all that one could want, although the cooked food was not as hot as I would have liked.

A good location close to transport links & restuarants, short walk to old town and shopping streets. Hotel in quiet location, standard rooms good value, apartments not worth extra money.

we had a lovely stay at madison hotel Dusseldorf. it is ease of access to the train station only round the corner. we checked in, had a lovely sleep then to the pool for a relaxing swim. the pool is lovely. i would go to Dusseldorf again as in the evening we went to the main street were we found a steakhouse that served irish steak! the pubs are good too with mcloughlins irish bar! the next morning i had breakfast which had alot to choose from.
Hotel staff were very nice. Bed was comfortable but had two single duvets instead of one double. there was also random holes in the ceilings and walls along the hallways and the lights in one hallways were all blown. The minibar in our room was locked shut and the key was stuck in the lock and wouldnt open. The pool was very basic and not a four star rating overall at all. was clean and comfortable but a big step down from what we were expecting.
This is an excellent hotel. It is located perfectly - close enough to easily walk to and from the main train station (from where you can get the S11 train from the airport for just 2 euros 30). And also about a 10 minute walk from the main downtown centre of Dusseldorf (the KO). The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the room I had (on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel) was very large and spacious. It was also very quiet at night, and everything about this hotel was just perfect. There are plenty of shops and cafes around it too. Breakfast was included and was very nice - with a wide selection of hams, cheeses, fruits and lovely fresh rolls. And the most delicious smoked salmon as well as lots of other interesting things to try. The reception area is very stylish, and after checking out I was able to leave my bag at the hotel when I went out for the day. The room had a good sized lcd TV, and there was also a free (German language) newspaper delivered in the morning. The hotel staff were so helpful, suggesting places to visit and the hotel gives you a free travelcard ticket which allows travel on the trams and also on the train back to the airport. I would definetly rate this hotel 10 out of 10 for its staff. Dusseldorf is a great city to visit, and this hotel makes a perfect base. I would definetly recommend it to anyone going to Dusseldorf.
Friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel.
The hotel is a modern business-style hotel. Good breakfast. It is located on the opposite side of the Rhine from Dusseldorf and we were initially worried it would be difficult getting into town. But the local railway station is less than 10 minutes walk and from there it's a short train journey into the centre of Dusseldorf so it worked out fine.
Hotel was only average - nothing particularly wrong but nothing special. Too expensive for what you get plus lots of hidden extras; € 9.00 per night to park car! € 4.00 per hour to use internet and an expensive restaurant. I dont think I will use this hotel again.
