Eco Alcala Suites Hotel Madrid

The hotel was great and really nice, but the staff was unfriendly, and the breakfast was only 3 star standard, thats why I could give this hotel just 2 points. At the arrival we asked if its possible to stay until 1 pm in the room instead of 12, and the told us that we can't, okay, but the hotel was nearly empty and the won't give us the room even if we pay for it.. then we asked if the could recommand as a good restaurant in the city, but the receptionist can't find the center on the map and then she had to take a look at the internet for about 10 minutes.. At breakfast we were'nt asked if we would like to have tea or coffee, and on the second day all tables are full with waste (the have just 4 tables) , and the did'nt clean it until we were at breakfast. On the third day there was no butter! And all the Croissants were not well done.. The problem is that all this things are not so important, but when you asked someone then the were really unfriendly, and a few of them doesn't speak english or french.. I spend 3 nights in this hotel and I have not seen someone with a smile on his face.. But the rooms are great!!! :-)
