The lodge offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the places most favoured by our guests is the inside and outside dining area which overlooks a waterhole. This drinking spot is frequented throughout the day by many different animals and lit up at night.

Location

Situated approximateley 270 k north of Windhoek and 22 km north-east of Omaruru on the Kalkfeld road, the lodge is nestled on 11,000 hectares against a hillside overlooking the Epako River.

Restaurant

Epako cuisine is an elegant combination of traditional Namibian ingredients and French cooking, enhanced by fine South African wines and French champagne. A sumptious buffet-style breakfast starts the day. Lunch is light and tasty, served at pool side or in the air-conditioned dining room, while dinner is served either inside or at a leisurely pace around a campfire under the stars.

Rooms

Accommodation at Epako consists of 24 luxuriously furnished double bedroom units, all with bathroom en suite, telephones and air-conditiuoning and a mini-bar in every room. Satellite television can be viewed from the bar. At the begining of the day breakfast is served on the terrace with a view of an African sunrise.
